I've been playing around on the Demeter site, and I've compiled a rather sizeable wishlist:

*Blueberry Love
*Cinnamon Toast
*Fig Leaf
*Fireplace Love
*Hibiscus Tea Love
*Lime
*Mango
*Paperback Love
*Pumpkin Pie Love
*Snow Love
*Waffles
*Banana Flambe
*Kahala Macadamia Nut
*Fiery Curry Love
*Redhead in Bed Love
*Salt Air
*Prickly Pear
*Chocolate Covered Cherries Love

The ones with the little face are the ones I'm most anxious to try. If anyone has tried any of these scents, how do you like them? I know Demeter in general isn't so great on lasting power, but these crazy scents are awesome!

Love from Becky

OMG - I want Blueberry and Kahala Macadamia Nut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Banana Flambe and it is seriously fabulous. Yes I tried Salt Air and I really didn't like it - to me, it didn't really smell like salt air. Crap

Those two are the only ones I've tried from your list.

Becky, that explains why you've been talking about Demeter a little bit recently. Remember your no buy. winking

The only thing I have any intention of trying is Redhead In Bed. But I only want that in shower gel form.

I've tried Banana Flambe too, it didn't last very long, and it turned on me like most banana scents do.
Frowner

Great list though, Becky!!Yes
I'd love to try Fireplace! I'd probably use it to scent my sheets rather than spraying it on myself.

Becky, I have been wanting to try Lime, Mango, Snow, and Salt Air also. Unfortunately there is no where within a 2-hour drive of me that sells Demeter, and most of these scents I wouldn't buy without smelling first.
I'm really happy with the scents I already have, though. Yes

Ciao!

Okay...I couldn't help myself and looked on the Demeter website.
wow they've got a lot of scents listed!!!
I've never tried Demeter...I heard their scents aren't that long lasting is this true?

The list I am somewhat intruiged by/interested in:

Chocolate Chip Cookie
Cotton Candy
Pink Lemonade
Angel Food
Apple Pie
Banana Flambe
Brownie
Chocolate Mint
Cinnamon Bun
Lavender
Mango
Marshmallow
Pineapple
Pomegranate
Pumpkin Pie
Blueberry
Raspberry Jam
Strawberry Ice Cream
Sugar Cookie
Vanilla Cake Batter
Waffles
Patchouli

On that note, there are a few things on there that I cannot (for the life of me) understand why anyone on G-ds green Earth, would want to smell like that Sick puke.

Thanks for the No-Buy support Megan! Out of all of those, Blueberry, Pumpkin Pie, Hibiscus Tea, Fireplace, and Paperback are the "must haves" on my list.

Paperback may seem a little weird, but my two absolute favorite smells in the world are burning wood and the smell of a good book. Knowing me, I would probably mix my Tiramisu perfume with Paperback, and voila! I'm wearing Barnes & Noble! Rotflol

Of course, I'll probably never order any of this stuff...at least not until next year! up2something

Well there goes that idea Crap...$18 per 1oz for a scent that isn't even long lasting isn't high on my list of must buys or must trys Frowner.

Thanks for the input BBW Rawks flowers.

Demeter has fun scents but the staying power is so crappy. I wouldn't pay full price for it either. I'll only get it if it's super cheap. I saw some for $5 before but the Kahala Blue Hawaiian was the only one I was interested in and it was sold out.

Becky,

I started collecting Demeter a few years ago and had quite a few, but sold most of them. I just have a few of my favorites left and that would be Brownie which is good, and my favorite of them all which is Graham Cracker and croquembouche. Love The kahalas are all pretty good too.

I had the Snow, but didn't like that at all. It was mostly alcohol and smelled like turpentine on me. The cinammon's (toast, bun, etc) were mostly a strong fake cinnamon. Birthday cake was a disappointment along with sugar cookie. Hibiscus tea is horrible. Sick There is no tea scent and I had to wash that off in a hurry. I also had a sample of Funeral Home Eeker and that scent is indescribable it was so bad.

Banana Flambe is a very sweet fake banana and the reviews are pretty bad on that one.

The rest of the Demeter scents on your list are really good and think you would like them all. Yes I wish that the scent lasted longer though.

I received two VS catalogues in the mail today, and the swimsuit one had a perfume strip with two new Demeter Kahala scents Blue Hawaiian and Hawaiian Surf.
Hawaiian Surf is a bit perfumey but not too bad, but Blue Hawaiian is awesome, it smells just like pineapple candy.Love

Hmm, thanks for the heads up Anan. I was hoping it would smell like the boxed chocolate cherries that you can buy at Christmas for $1 a box.

I agree that Blue Hawaiian smells like just pineapple candy. I still want to get it but only if I can get it for cheap.
