Fryl, I'll confirm for you-it is $28. I saw it the other day-and that's why I wanted those spray vials Big Grin. I'm getting this set as soon as I get more $$$ on hand.

They have another set that has Magnetism, Magnetic Beat, Sentiment, Escada, and Rockin' Rio in the for about $35.

I just have a sample of Sentiment-I like it a lot. It's a nice "romantic " scent, not overbearing, and the bottle is so cute-shaped like a heart! I heard they were discontinuing it, but I don't know for sure.

I think Sentiment is getting discontinued. Cry I did want it only for the heart shaped bottle. I don't see it @ dept. stores anymore & all Sephora had in it the last time I checked was the lotion.

I really like it too. You'll still be able to find it on eBay or the internet I'm sure and besides it's probably cheaper to get it online than from a department store. Too bad it's getting discontinued though. Frowner

Escada has always made wonderful fragrances for giving and receiving. Love
The original red Escada is a classic as well as Escada for men.
One does not smell these on other people as you would Love Spell or Eternity.
Perfumania has some good deals on Escada as does Beautiful Perfumes dot com. Testers are available for purchase and many do come with tops.

If I can buy a 60 year old new in box bottle of Dana Platine perfume for $25 on eBay (it still smells new and has not 'turned')....finding a discontinued Escada fragrance is a piece of cake.
Am quite certain it's available, even at local places like Marshall's or TJ Maxx.
When a fragrance 'bombs', Marshall's is usually the first place to look.
The great 'unwashed masses' have no appreciation for Escada, Perlier, the original Armani (Helena Rubenstein), Gio and other really good stuff. Oscar de la Renta "Volupte' is a great perfume yet it ended up in Marshall's for cheap. Not 'trendy' enough or plastered all over the fashion magazines.
I even doubt such 'luminaries' as Shakira (Yikes, what a no talent hoochie) or Tanya Harding are Cosmo readers. They probably cannot even read at a third grade level.
So..rest assured. Anything you guys really like is a piece of cake to find.

I'm not very familiar with Escada perfumes, but 1 time when I was in a department store, a worker in there told me that every year, escada come out with a new perfume. So maybe that's why you see escada discontinue its perfume all the time?
So, do you guys know which perfume come out before than others?
Original red escada (is this the first one?)
Rocking Rio, Island Kiss, Ibiza Hippie (I don't know which one come out first)
Sentiment or Magnetism came out first?
Pacific Paradise (this is the newest one)

Yea, I think there are some ltd. ed. fragrances. Those would be the ones in the multicolor bottles. I think the order for them is: Ibiza Hippie, Island Kiss, Rockin Rio, & Pacific Paradise. Magnetism & Sentiment seemed to me to be more "staple" fragrances. The ones that Sephora is currently selling are: Escada (2005 ed. green bottle), Magnetism, & Pacific Paradise. But I have noted that it is harder to find Magnetism @ dept. stores. Also, looking @ Fragrance Net, I saw a lot of the other ltd. ed. fragrances that existed before the advent of the multicolor bottle. Now those fragrances look like they belong on an 80's soap opera. Eeker

As far as Pacific Paradise, it does look a lot like Island Kiss & I think Anan (our Escada expert) said it smelled a lot like it as well.

Why, thanks Megan! I like that title! TY

Pacific Paradise does smell a lot like Island Kiss and Rockin' Rio. All 3 have their little differences, but they all seem to have a same fruity base.

Another one (not a fruity one) is Magnetic Beat which is like a lighter version of Magnetism. I haven't smelled that one in a long time, though. And it's pretty tough to find anymore.

I've been hunting for Ibiza Hippie-I had that one STOLEN from me on a trip. So far, people seem to want to hold on to that one and eBay gets ridiculous.

Ibiza Hippie...is has fruity notes, sorta floral, I can't describe it. It smelled like it had pear notes. It was joy in a bottle.

I need some Escada advice!! help My husband smelled Pacific Paradise in the bottle and liked it, so I sprayed it on my arm and he said that now it smelled too much like bubble gum and he didn't like it anymore.
Can anyone (I'm looking at you, Anan!) suggest something similar (since many of the scents are very close) that may be a little less candy-sweet? The tropical fruity scent was good, but the sticky sweet bubble gum dry-down was not. Does this make sense?
I might have to bring home a bottle of Tahiti Sweetie lotion to see if he likes that scent, since I know it is close.
I'm always on the lookout for something my husband actually likes! Fish

Ciao!
Janelle

Hey Janelle!! Hope this helps!

Ok, as far as getting away from the bubble gum dry down, I'm wearing Island Kiss now and it's got the same fruity smell in the bottle like Pacific Paradise, but the drydown is more fruity (grapefruitish). Rockin' Rio's drydown is still fruity, but a little sweeter, but not as sweet as PP. However, IK and RR are discontinued, but you can find RR at some places like TJ Maxx (as Fryl has shared) and all those online fragrance stores. FragranceNet has all of them, and at reasonable price, too.

If you want to get away from all fruity aspects of Escada, there is, my holy grail of fragrance, Magnestism. I think it's like Pink Sugar's older sister with an edge, LOL! (Magnetic Beat is described as a "light" Magnetism, but I only smelled it 1 time a long time ago and it's kinda hard to find). Magnetism is an evening scent, and I don't wear it very often, but I Love it. Sentiment is a nice fresh romantic scent (discontinued but you can find it really cheap lately), then there's the Escada signature that is pretty recent, but I haven't really smelled it in a while so I can't give you any feedback on it.
