I must confess that I'm a fan of the RL perfume line. RL Hot has been on the top of my fragrance wishlist for quite some time. I've even promoted to being my 2nd favorite perfume ever (I'm sure everyone knows what occupies the #1 spot on my favorite perfume list.). Anyway, I was reading the Now Smell This blog & I found a new RL perfume that's coming out in Feb. 2007. It's called Ralph Rocks.

I must say that I like that this line is continuing b/c I like Hot & Cool. But the orange color for RL Rocks doesn't look so good. I don't think I'll be buying this one, but I'll be smelling it @ the counter so that I can adequately review it.

there are some really good scents out there.

I have only tried RL Cool. I liked that one and want to try Hot but if it smells similiar to BSF I would probably just stick to that since its cheaper.

I do actually like the orange color. I love bright colors.

I absolutely LOVE Ralph Lauren's - Ralph EdT. It's one of the few EdT's/EdP's that I use that are actually for women (I love using Men's scents when it comes to perfumes).

Which reminds me I need to stock up on this .

I love Ralph Hot. I have a bottle of it, but haven't opened it yet. I intend to open it as soon as it gets colder.
I had the first RL too, but gave it away to my cousin. I like the way it smells just not on me. RL Cool, is also not for me.

Kristin, RL Hot is similar to BSF. But it's a purchase worth eventually making b/c it's so much prettier & it also comes in a 3.4 oz. size. Whenever I do get it, I probably won't be buying mine. I'll probably be receiving it as a gift.

Ralph Hot smells good. I must admit I like it. Which is a bit odd b/c I am not a big fan of BSF. I plan on getting a bottle of Ralph Hot but probably later when the hype dies down and I find it for $20 or so.

So far, I've seen Ralph Rocks @ Macy's & Ulta. I ended up smelling it b/c I was kinda bored. I thought it smelled kinda like perfumey orange juice. I'll just say that I don't like the orange trend that's going on in perfumes this season.

I'm not a big perfumey orange juice fan either. That's why i'm not even bothering to try Ralph Rocks or the Escada Sunset Heat.

Sorry to bring up an old discussion but i'm desperately seeking a new fragrance. On MUA, the new Ralph Rocks is getting rave reviews so I was just wondering if anyone on this board has it or has tried it on and what you think of it? TIA

I haven't tried it yet, but I've seen it.

I'm going to the department store tomorrow, and will try it out, and let you know.

Is MK Hawaii the one in the orange bottle? I tried that one the other day and didn't like it too much so hopefully Ralph Rocks doesn't smell similar to it

Yes, MK Hawaii is the one in the orange bottle. The scent, if I remember correctly, is citrusy and tropical.

Yeah MK Hawaii was very orangey/citrusy. I'm anticipating Ralph Rocks to smell like that but on the MUA reviews everyone says there's a creamy note to it.

Jade, I was able to test Ralph Lauren Rocks today.
It's definitely creamy, it has a strong coconut scent too.(creamy coconut notes?) Is it supposed to have citrus notes? I don't smell any of those, except for maybe a little with the initial spray.
It's smells like MK Island Fiji/ Vera Wang Princess to me, just with (more) coconut added.

Update: Rocks smells more like Coconut Lime Verbena to me now.

Thanks for sniffing Ralph Rocks for me Fryl! I'll be sure to remember to try it next time i'm at the mall. However, I don't think I want to buy it anymore. I'm in love with Mood Succulent and I think I want a backup of it and maybe even get a Sweet Craving edp

The RL Rocks EdT is nice, but it's not unique.
