i recently bought a few 3.7 oz jars and some votives, today i was burning my vanilla caramel jar for 2.5 hours and i couldn't smell anything AT ALL! does anyone else have this problem with the 3.7 oz? should i have bought the bigger jars or did i just so happen to end up with a defected one? any feedback would be great - thanks in advance.

Jade, I have had that problem before. You can always take the jar back and Yankee will replace it. If you want soemthing STRONG smelling to the tarts that you burn in a tart burner...they are AWESOME

I agree with Kathi. Take it back and tell them it had no smell. I had that problem before and they were happy to exchange it.

thanx for the feedback girls, however i didn't take it back...we don't have an actual yankee store here, i bought it at Linens and Things and i threw away the receipt so i didn't bother just in case it ended up being more of a hassle, i'm still burning the candle tho & sometimes if i burn it long enough there's a very faint smell of vanilla caramel. the votives are good tho, it's very strong even if i burn it for only 15 mins.
