I was at the local Yankee store, and was sooo excited to find that some select Housewarmers jars were b1g1 half off! I got the biggest sizes, one in Ocean Water, one in Tea and Honey. Also, their Trick or Treat scent smells absolutely heavenly!

i wasnt a fan of the tea&honey scent, but i plan to go back and stock up on the sale stuff. i also LOVE the new cinnamon apple berry scent, did you try it??

BTW, they also had three new "cocktail" candle scents: chocolate martini, cosmopolitain, and irish creme. the chocolate martini and irish creme both smelled yummy, but i could hardly smell the cosmoploitain.

I found the cocktail candles on the Yankee Candle website. They look so cute & yummy! So tempted to buy Chocolate Martini! I haven't really shopped @ Yankee Candle in a long time, so I'm just curious as to if this set is a seasonal thing. And have some the scents been out longer than others (such as Apple Martini, Strawberry Daiquiri)?

it is seasonal ... the apple martini/strawberry daquiri/pina coloda were for summer. my store has a few leftover but said they wouldnt be getting any more. the new ones are for fall i suppose.

I agree that Trick Or Treat is yummy! I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a vanilla/caramel scent for fall. But it was a little weird seeing Halloween candles out @ the beginning of Aug.

As for the Cosmopolitan, I guess it's suppossed to smell like cranberry, but I think all the other Cocktail scents nearby (Chocolate Martini, Irish Cream) are a lot stronger and overpower the Cosmopolitan so you can't pick up on the scent that much.

I want Trick or Treat, I am in a hurry & cant check out the website right now, anyone have a guesstimate on how much the largest Trick or Treat would be? Thanks a lot in advance
