I subscribe to a Yahoo group about Yankee candles, and one of the members there discovered quite a few unheard of Yankee scents on eBay. They look like the newer style packaging, so maybe they're scents for fall? They look and sound wonderful - especially Frosted Pumpkin. Love

Here they are:
Creme Brulee

Sicilian Orange

Frosted Pumpkin

Pomegranate Cider

Mango Peach Salsa

Autumn Woods

None of the fall scents listed so far appeal to me, but there's a chance that I'll end up liking one of them when the fall line gets officially released.

However, I did see some of the new packaging this weekend. The only fragrance they had w/ new packaging was Sun & Sand.

I went into YC tonight & I was surprised to see the new scents on the shelves in the front of the store.

All of the scents TD Junkie mentioned were there & are part of the fall collection, except for Sicilian Orange, which is part of the World collection.

Other New Fall Scents:
Coconut Cookie Bar
Fall Festival
Shortbread Cookie

New World Scent:
Indonesian Ginger

The only one of the new scents I smelled was Shortbread Cookie. And it really did smell like a cookie! Love Given that my nose is bad when it comes to smelling light vanillas, the strength of this one on cold sniff was fairly good.

Stopped in on the way home tonight and had a sniff of a couple of the new fall scents.

Frosted Pumpkin - I found it on the spice side with a hint of pumkin and vanilla.

Shortbread Cookie - Smells like any of there other sugar cookie type scents

Sicilian Orange - Very orange scented. Almost like Juicy Orange but not quite as citrusy (sp)

Cider Donut - couldnt really smell the cider. Almost more dough-like. I will need to resniff this one

Coconut Cookie Bar - Pretty much spot on. Like making a magic cookie bars. The graham, coconut, chocolate and the hint of condensed milk is there. Yum yum. Ended up buying a 3.7oz jar in this to give it a burn. This and my Demeter Condensed Milk fragrance makes me want to bake some this weekend.

Didnt smell any of the other new fall scents as I was going into sensory overload. I know it's a bit early to start the fall shopping, but it will be here before you know it.

Hey everyone, just in case you're interested, these new Yankee Candle scents are out. After hitting up the VS sale yesterday, I wandered into Yankee just to look around for a bit. All of the scents mentioned in this thread plus a few more were out on the shelves so I of course had to smell them all. They were all pretty good, very unique and different this time around. My faves are Coconut Bar (I think that was the name) and Creme Brulee. Yum! I didn't buy them, though, I have way too many candles right now. I'm just glad smelling is free. LOL!

Enjoy!

Thanks for the info TorriR! I read your post last night so that's why I decided to stop in today. Smiler

I smelled all they had, and thankfully for my debit card I only liked a few of them.

Creme Brulee - Sick
Sicilian Orange - Love Reminded me of TBS Satsuma
Frosted Pumpkin - Errr - too spicy, not enough sweet
Pomegranate Cider - Nerd so so
Mango Peach Salsa - Ok, but very light
Autumn Woods - Sick To me, smelled like a very heavy old man's cologne
Cider Donut - puke - this one smelled like paint thinner to me, just like how TD Amaretti smells to me. I think it's just me, so don't take my .02 on this one. I couldn't get it back on the shelf fast enough though.
Shortbread Cookie - Smiler Ok, but quite faint
Indonesian Ginger - Sick

The only one I didn't see is Coconut Cookie Bar.

My review:

Creme Brulee: Very mapely. Didn't smell like creme brulee at all.
Sicilian Orange: Love Like TDJ, I think it smelled like Satsuma.
Frosted Pumpkin: Errr Just ok..and this coming from a LOVER of pumpkin.
Pomegranate Cider: This smells like something else I've smelled before, but I can't place it.
Mango Peach Salsa: Ok.
Autumn Woods: Very woody, very nice!
Cider Doughnut: Pretty good to me!
Shortbread Cookie: Smelled ok, like most cookie scents available.
Indonesian Ginger: I really liked this one!! Straight up ginger.
Coconut Cookie Bar: Sick What did they do to this? I didn't smell coconut or cookie.
Fall Festival: Love This smelled FANTASTIC!!!

Oooh, I bet I'd love Autumn Woods! I'm also curious about the pumpkin one...I've really been into pumpkin scents the past year or so. As long as there's no apple note to it, I'm pretty much guaranteed to love it.

....Yeah, 'cause I need another reason to spend money this month. Roll Eyes Escape

I don't remember very well, but it seemed to me like a mix of food and woody scents. It was my favorite of all the new fall scents.

You're right...I actually headed over to a YC store today and really really liked it. I didn't end up buying it, though, 'cause I went a little nuts on the sale stuff and also bought a lot of Sun & Sand tarts & votives for my mom, who really likes it. The throw is SO much better from the tarts than from the Housewarmer in S&S; it's amazing!

Does anybody know how long the YC sale usually goes? This is the first one I've ever really been interested in.
