Went over to my local BBW today to check out the SAS and see if anything new was out. Did score some things but was talking to the SA and she let me sniff two WBCC candles. Bartlett Pear and Lilac Blossoms. Both very true to their name IMHO. They are thinking that the Real Essence line will slowly become Slatkin 3 wick. Also saw on the shelves a Slatkin Electric Oil Warmer. Very simply and might be interesting to have.

Hmm...an electric oil warmer sounds interesting. Yes

I'd be curious as to what it looks like.

Thanks for the info. I agree, I am really interested in the electric oil warmer. I have an electric tart burner, which I really like so I am sure I will buy an oil one, if I like the style of it. Smiler

The electric oil burner is very simple looking. Almost like an electric candle warmer plate, white, but a shallow bowl over the heating element. Not sure if it is a one piece unit or not

I was at a regular BBW today, and they had the electric HFO burner. They just put them out today and they only had 3 left. Of course I HAD to buy one. It was $19.50, I havent opened it yet but it looks like its 1 piece. The SA told me she thought it was. Once I open it and use it I will post my reviews on it. It does have a green light on the bottom to let you know if its on or off. It is simple looking, white, much smaller/shorter than most HFO burners. Its kinda cute, and if I dont like it back it will go.

Thats all I ended up getting there. I had merchandise credit, so I spent $10.00 and got a free TBS Be More Pacific shower cream w/ my coupon. In my bag they gave me a coupon for a free Patricia Wexler Serum w/any purchase a $27.50 value. Smiler

I also saw the electric HFO burner & the Bartlett Pear & Lilac Blossom candles yesterday. I thought the electric HFO burner was kinda boring looking, but that sounds more appealing to me than a regular HFO burner. I've never actually burned HFOs before, so we shall see what happens. Yes

I also might like it if they had 4 oz. jars in those candle scents like they've done w/ other WBNY scents.

That electric oil burner is interesting. They've had one at TBS for a while.

I wonder if it is any different then using a tart burner to heat HFO's

Valerie, the SA told me they are used very similar to a tart burner. She said the only difference is the directions say to only keep on for 4 hours at a time.

I also smelled Lilac Blossoms and Barlett Pear the other day. I personally didnt care for Lilac Blossom, but I dont care for floral scents. It was really strong. I really liked Barlett Pear, it is a unique scent. I hope they have this in a HFO, if not I will probably get this in the candle candle

I love the Lilac Blossom candle.Love I am not a fan of florals, but this is an exception.

I haven't smelled the Bartlett Pear but if it smells as nice as the room spray Anan sent me once, I'll love it too.

Thanks for the info, Gizmo. I'll try to remember to watch. I did see a couple of new Slatkin candle scents at the WBCC store over the weekend. I don't remember the names though.FrownerBonk
Something with "shore" and "breeze" and "fresh.
I think one may have been Shore Breeze.Big Grin
I am probably completely wrong.

Also, I did see a few Red Hot Passion HFOs, and the HFOs were on special for 3 for $15. HTHS.Smiler

I went into a store today where they some of the new home fragrances out. They had a ceramic orange candle in the Tropical Orange Flower scent. As far as the scent, it was nice if you're a fan of orange scents.

I read a post on MUA saying that someone had seen a lot of home fragrance scents for fall in the new packaging.

Autumn Apple
Cinnamon Stick
Creamy Caramel
Creamy Nutmeg
Sandalwood Vanilla
Spiced Cider
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
Vanilla Coconut (haven't found a link for this one yet)

I so want to get some of the repackaged Creamy Nutmeg & Creamy Caramel stuff! Cheerleader

Gizmo, I think your store selection was the same as mine. I also noticed that Cinnamon & Clove Buds has gotten repackaged. It's nice to see some fall home fragrance scents, but I feel that having 2 apple scents & 2 cinnamon scents is a bit redundant. I decided to pass on getting Creamy Nutmeg stuff for today; I'll wait until I'm in a little bit more of a fall mood.

I also sniffed the new Fresh Bamboo scent. It was grassy smelling & I didn't care for it at all. Crap

I also noticed the repackaged scents yesterday. I was happy to see that the Vanilla Coconut scent did not get discontinued, just put in different packaging. But I liked the old antique-styled packaging for that one so much better. Part of why I bought those candles was because I loved how well they went with my room decor. I'll really miss it.
