AOL news had a new quiz/poll on their news thingie.
Are you a Metrospiritual? They mentioned Starbucks, aromatherapy, herbal tea, etc.
The numbers lady, Glynnis McCant (?) has a new book out on numerology where you can even add the digits of your cell phone and get a reading. Love

Saw an ad for Starbucks Coffee Liquer in a magazine at work. Wonder if Dunkin' Donuts will follow suit. Rotflol
Someone will have to try it out as I don't do alcohol.

Actually, Godiva has a Cappuccino Liqueur, which I would expect to be higher quality than Starbucks. They have other flavors as well, including White Chocolate, Chocolate Cream (milk chocolate), & Original Chocolate (dark chocolate). I was interested in trying the White Chocolate & Cappuccino flavors when I turned 21, but never really got around to trying them.

Becky, did they actually have the Cinnamon Dolce Frappuccino on the menu? I've been to the 2 nearest locations of Starbucks & it wasn't on the menu @ all @ either one. That's the only that I wanted to try that I haven't been able to yet.

I looked up the nutrition info. There's not that many fat calories in the drink itself; the fat calories get added when you add whipped cream. If you want to reduce the amt. of fat or calories, you can order the smallest size drink (a "tall") & ask for no whipped cream. There are also "light" options for some flavors, which will automatically have no whipped cream. I've had the "light" version of Caffe Vanilla & it was still quite yummy. The thing I look out for is total calories. I know the calorie count isn't the best, but I drink frappuccinos occasionally, so they're a "treat" to me rather than an everyday beverage. The problems w/ calories & fat come in when people have these drinks on an everyday basis, but people should be fine if they decide to have a frappuccino on an occasional basis.

I have a question. Is counting fat content and calories limited to women?
I know there are male 'annas' in existance and there is a medical term for them. Something related to compulsive working out.
There is even a Starbucks in the library here.
I have tried Starbucks and IMO the coffee is too girly with all the whipped cream, etc.
I did go to the Kripy Kreme website and some of the donuts have up to 400 calories. Krispy Kremes are tasty but give me indigestion.
I usually get high on Folger's Freeze Dry. Rotflol
Cannot justify spending $5.00+ for a cup of coffee.
And avoid anything that's packaged in green (low cal/decaf) Speechless
I do like coffee, but probably for the caffeine.

Oh, great, now Starbucks is going to turn into something for girls, just like any decent tasting drink at a bar! Actually, you CAN order plain house coffee or normal cappacinos at Starbucks as well. Most people remember them for their wonderful dessert drinks, though, cuz they are SO good!

Actually, I often pick up frappacinos for my male co-workers when I do a Starbucks run. The Java Chip one is pretty popular.

The issue of guys working out all the time is an "Adonis complex". It's something that I've come across a few times while studying psychology in college.

While I was doing my grocery shopping this morning I was offered to sample Starbucks Peppermint Mocha, which is my favourite. I always decline samples, but I could not refuse this one. Smiler
I didn't check out the menu but it seems to me it's available again Banana

I passed Starbucks as I was exiting the mall & noticed that they had some new frappuccinos listed. They are Bananas & Creme & Banana Coconut. I didn't have a chance to try it today, but I will have to try the Bananas & Creme later.
