Eh, if I worried about every possible thing that could harm me, cause cancer, etc., I'd have to live in a bubble. Razzer

oh i got one of those email forwards about this, specifically calling out OPI nail polish. but OPI is my favorite and the email was claiming that whatever it uses in the formula to cause it to stay on longer also causes cancer (breast and reproductive organ). this article (i think) was specifically talking about inhaling the fumes, if i'm not mistaken, but the email i got was about the actual wearing of the polish on your skin. i pretty much figure that we are all going to get cancer (which sounds like a lazy excuse, especially coming from someone whose mom had breast cancer a couple of years ago) it just depends on when and what type. i still think OPI is the best nail polish, and there is a certain amount of skepticism i have about email forwards. i mean, i still haven't seen my million bucks from bill gates. have y'all? lol

That is a little scary, but people will probably wear nail polish regardless. The way I see it, I live in southeast MI and I breathe in heavy industrial air every single day. Nail polish and preservatives in food and products are the least of my worries when I'm inhaling smoke from tons and tons of nearby factories. In fact, I live down the street from a chemical plant, an abandoned steel mill, an electric plant, a sewage plant, and a few car factories. 'Tis one reason why I long to move far away from this place.

Thanks for posting this article, though. It was definitely an interesting read.
