Ok it seems i have come here to ask for help in getting myself up to par for my best friend's wedding. Thanks to everyone who has replied to my foot help thread Smiler
Now I would like to know if anyone knows of any good exercises that would help turn a bit of flabby butt into something better???

Well, it's not exercise, but maybe you could try a firming lotion. I don't know if they work or not, but it could be worth a try.

Try some squats--be careful if your knees are iffy. To do a squat correctly, imagine that you are sitting down a couch with the backs of your calves flat against the front of the couch. The motion you want is a "sit back" type--your knees shouldn't bend forward past your toes. Bend till your upper thighs are almost parallel with the ground, then stand back up. When you are stnading straight up, squeeze your butt together.

Also good:
lunges--again be careful of your knees.

and:
bent leg kick-backs and leg lifts. Get on your hands and knees on the floor and lift your legs one at a time, keeping them bent, so that your upper thigh is parallel with the ground. You can also modify this by pushing your bent leg out straight behind you and "pulsing" it up and down.

These are also good for doing in front of the TV LOL.
