I checked this morning hoping chocolate amber was available on the website since it is Dec. 10-nothing yet. It says it's not in stock yet.

If you have a store close to you, you might check with them. We did the floorset that featured CA last night, though it didn't seem to be attracting much attention from the customers.

Its out at our store too, stinky stuff. Smells like sensual amber with chocolate in it to me.

i smelled this today. i really didn't get much of a chocolate smell at all-mostly just amber. the blackberry amber has a little bit of a tart smell to it at least. what a disappointment.

I smelled it today as well. I think it's a nice scent, it smells mostly like Sensual Amber with a chocolate note.

The store I went to today didn't have any Chocolate Amber splashes & no tester was out for the EDT. I got a chance to smell it in the other forms though & it was kinda like a mix of powder & perfume. I'm still interested in smelling it in an EDT form, so I'll probably be stopping by another BBW this weekend.

This one sounds interesting and the packaging is very attractive.
 Have seen sets on eBay already but not on the website. Doe any of you guys know if Chocolate Amber will be available in a body butter? |

Jeff, Chocolate Amber's only moisturizer forms are lotion & body cream. Due to its LE nature, there's limited product availability.

I got a body cream tonight. It's very nice, softer and sweeter than Sensual Amber after a while.

Got the lotion tonight. I liked it when I sniffed it in the bottle & I could actually smell chocolate, but the drydown smells way too musky for me.
It's a long lasting scent though. I put the lotion on at 7 pm and it's now 11pm and I can still smell it!  |

I agree about it not generating much intrest from customers. I was in BBW tonight and the store was PACKED - kinda strange for them to be so busy on a Wednesday night, but it IS the holidays! Anyway, this store was PACKED but NO ONE but me was looking at the Chocolate Amber stuff. It doesn't seem like BBW is even promoting this that much - there was no signage indicating that this was a new scent, or that a new scent was even available. If not for this board, I wouldn't have noticed it. The packaging is very pretty, but it really blends in with the rest of the Sensual Amber/Blackberry Amber stuff. |

Finally got to check this one out but there was not much product on the shelves.
My first impression was...oh no...Brown Sugar Fig...but then it changed. Nothing special but not unpleasant. Phew! The $5 body cream was a good deal. Let's hope BBW doesn't go overboard with 'amber' as they did with the Cherry Blossom line. |

Was the body cream still $5 in stores yesterday and today? The reason I'm asking is I called the store closest to me yesterday to ask and was told that promotion ended. I might buy the Chocolate Amber body cream if it was $5, but I don't think it's worth paying $11 for. I like it but don't love it, and really do agree with you that it's nothing special. I wish it had a bit stronger chocolate note and less amber as I'm getting kinda tired of the amber scents. |

I'm starting to agree w/ Chocolate Amber blending in w/ the rest of the stuff. I was in a BBW store last night to make some returns, but wanted to give the Chocolate Amber EDT a sniff. I totally forgot about it.
I think BBW is overdoing the amber thing a little bit already. But at least the other 2 ambers are LE. |

i went into today to see what was on sale, but undecided what to get for a last minute gift.
the chocolate ambers does definately smell like chocolate and amber, its has a ok smell, not something i would go crazy over, but its ok, i told the sa it smelled like a mans cologne,she said yeah someone else said the same thing, lol |

I got a chance to smell the Chocolate Amber splash today. My sentiments were the same as MAnne's: It's OK, but I'm not in love. I also think the stores have a really ltd. amt. of EDTs. I only saw 3 at this store & they didn't have a tester either.
Something also interesting to note: The items for this scent are also 50 cents more expensive (a la Velvet Tuberose). |

I smelled this today. I tried the lotion,and in the bottle it smelled O.K. on me it only smelled like Amber so I passed on it. My store only had 2 EDTs left. While I was there a couple different people were trying it and they all passed on it too.
On a different note they had probably at least 50 bottles of Sassy Strawberry Mint 3-in-1s and lotions  I dont believe that did too well either. I think they are due for some exciting (good) new scents for the coming year!!! |

to me, the EDTs smell way better than the body products. i think because the chocolate note smells like a tootsie roll to me instead of actual chocolate. i sprayed the EDT on my arm and put the lotion on my hands. i got a bit tired of the smell on my hands, but kept on smelling my arm. lol
i got the body cream free with a coupon and wore it on a saturday at work so as not to offend the regular "sensitive" crowd. i think i officially like it. the scent evolves and smells very nice i think. i don't like it as much when i put it on initially, because of the Tootsie roll effect. Everyone should have a cocker spaniel. |
