Strawberry Shortcake is awesome! Megan described it as a mix of strawberry daiquiri and whipped cream, and I totally agree. It's so sweet and is one of the best strawberry scents I've ever come across. Love

I really hope everyone gets a chance to sniff this!

Becky - Are you serious? Would you say it's "better" than Temptation's Frozen Daiquiri scent? Because I am looooooving that one.

I'm forgetting...how many fluid ounces are these?

Kim, I would say that Strawberry Shortcake is a million times better than Frozen Daiquiri. Of course, my hatred of Frozen Daiquiri knows no bounds, so I would say that. fly2 And you KNOW I must have liked it if I bought two, since I usually only buy one of any particular product. Nerd
Megan, how about you - do you like SS or FD better?

Love from Becky

Becky, you're asking me a very hard question. Frozen Daiquiri is my favorite Temptations scent & Strawberry Shortcake has now become my favorite Fresh Baked scent. Love However, I'll be more willing to use up Strawberry Shortcake in the spring b/c it's by a lesser known brand.

Megan- Thanks for the info Yes!
They aren't as "small" as I thought they might be...hmmm...yet another 'checkmark' in its favor Yes!

Also your input on this particular scent compels me to try this out if at all possible. Seeing as you're a fellow "Strawberry" lover, and also count Frozen Daiquiri in with her favorites, the rave review is even more of an incentive.

Have you tried it yet? Is the scent (outside of the shower) long lasting?

Becky- Thanks a lot for the input girly hug. Hmmmmmm that's quite a declaration (Strawberry Shortcake being better than Frozen Daiquiri) seeing as I LOVE Frozen Daiquiri (in splash and lotion form anyway) and consider it one of my ultimate favorites. SO despite your not being a fan of FD, the fact that you think SS tops it intrigues me to no end.

I hope I manage to get to it before it runs out. I've heard that the stores that have this aren't exactly "stocked up" Frowner.

I got the Fresh Baked Strawberry Shortcake shampoo/ body wash today.Big Grin
I got one from a swap with Noelle and two from Sally's Beauty Supply, where I found them sitting at the counter as well.
To me FB Strawberry Shortcake smells a lot like Frozen Daiquiri.

I used my Fresh Baked Strawberry Shortcake stuff as a shampoo and as a body wash today. It's actually a very decent shampoo, it made my hair feel very clean and soft. Thumbsup

I went to Sally Beauty Supply on 10/11 & didn't see any sign of Blueberry Muffin, Birthday Cake, or Raspberry Tart. I only know the date I went b/c I also bought something @ Staples that day & posted about it in the "Recent Purchases" thread. So it's been about 2 wks. since I checked on it. Who wants to check if they've gotten new stuff in?

Hmmmmm what's up with that? I am not really familiar with Sally's Beauty Supplies, but I can imagine how frustrating it is to wait for the debut of a product/scent, look for it when they say it should be there, and not find it Frowner.

Becky, did you happen to ask them by any chance? Any intel from the staff that worked at the store you went to?

You know, I've never even seen any of the other Fresh Baked stuff except the Strawberry Shortcake shampoo/ body wash but only because it was on the counter.
Where did everyone else find them in Sally's?
I suppose I could have asked someone who works there, but my poor husband couldn't take it much longer.Big Grin

Fryl, the other 4 Fresh Baked scents were in a display in the shampoo section. At my store, they were on a shelf close to the bottom. It was kinda hard to find them at first since they seemed to be practically hidden.

Thanks, Megan. I tried to scan the bottom shelf in particular, but wasn't succesful. Maybe I'll go there this week to check it out again.

I am very pleased with the Fresh Baked SS as a shampoo. I didn't even use a conditioner the last time I used and my hair was still very smooth and soft.

Kimmer, no, I didn't ask a SA when they were coming out. I probably should have, but I don't really like talking to people. hidesbehindsofa

The Sally's that I go to is very small and everything is so unorganized, that I could never find anything in that place without asking.

I will be going tomorrow to see if they have any of the new ones. Love

I went to Sallys today and asked about the new FB scents and the SA said that they might be getting them in later this week. Clap

She said that they got a bag of "samples" idunno of the new scents last week, but they were already gone.

I would have asked her more about the samples, but she seemed a little frazzled since she was the only one there, ringing up customers and also on the phone, so I didn't get a chance too.

I went to the spot that I found the other FB last time and I don't understand why they are crammed on the bottom of a shelf where you can't even see them. They had alot of the Apple Pie and I know why, because that stuff is just awful. It might be just that batch, but it smelled like burnt plastic to me. Crap

That's good news, Noelle. I actually called the Sally Beauty Supply store nearest me & they don't have them in either yet. However, someone on MUA posted that there's a giftset of minis of Cinnamon Roll, Birthday Cake, Raspberry Tart, & Blueberry Muffin. So maybe those were the "samples".
