Got another 'begging' e-mail from The Body Shop today.

Their latest ghastly creation is Moroccan Rose.
Will pass on this. Their Cassis Rose smelled like the inside of nana's purse.

$28 for EDT and $20 for Body Butter is ridiculous.

They are also touting their new 'baby' line.

Body Shop..get with the program. And please lose the Cherry Blossom as well.

No wonder their stores are always...empty.

I am really surprised they are still in business. I have NEVER seen more than 3 people in there at any one time. But I guess somehow they are managing. idunno

I got the same email, Jeff.

The packaging for Moroccan Rose does look pretty, but I don't have high hopes for the scent since I don't like their Cassis Rose either.

Nana's purse... Rotflol

I have to say I can't figure out how they stay in business either. Any time I've been there I've never seen more than one other person in the store. The last time I went my mall (which is normally crowded even now) was packed with holiday shoppers and yet TBS was still empty.

I thought their new raspberry scent was pretty good though.

I received an email from The Body Shop, they have new Wild Cherry bath and body items. I will check this out, this is the first new item they have brought out in a long time that sounds like it could be good. Yes

Wild Cherry might be interesting. I'll have to give it a sniff the next time I visit a TBS (which probably won't be until May).

i smelled it yesterday, i didnt even know it was out, either the body butter was out and the climate in the store was too hot, but it didnt
smell that strong, altough the body wash is better, but i may give it another sniff.
i wish bbw would introduce a plain cherry scent
instead of the japanese one.
but i think some folks may like this one.

I ended up stopping at TBS shop. I actually liked the Wild Cherry. I didnt care for it in the body butter or scrub, I did like it in the shower gel though. Its not super strong, it is definitely a fruity cherry scent. Which I was happy about, sometimes cherry can be cough syrup smelling to me. Smiler

Received a 'begging' email from The Body Shop and decided to investigate Wild Cherry.

It smelled like cherry cough syrup indeed in the body butter form and not very strong.

As a former employee and Body Shop fan, I've noticed a deterioration in the quality of their products.

The body butters and lotions seem to hold their scent for a shorter period of time and then go flat..with a plastic note.

On the other hand, my Almond Cherry lotion and body mist from Lovey last for up to 2 days after I use them.
Love

I really like the new Wild Cherry scent from the Body Shop. I got a small sample of the body butter, a mini body butter and a lip butter. It definitely smells the fruitiest in lip butter form.Yes

There were a lot of people in the store when I went earlier today, which was quite unusual.Razzer

I wanted to get the lip butter in Wild Cherry. Fryl, does it have color to it or is it clear? They didnt have any testers out when I was there, I just wanted to see the color, and the SA couldnt remember. Crap
I like to wear a lip balm at bedtime, so I dont want any color. If it wasnt for that I just would have bought it, but I was afraid with the name Wild Cherry it would have color. Smiler

Giz, the lip butter does have colour to it, but it's a pale pink colour. I deliberately wiped some off on my crisp white bedding to see if it would stain. It does only slightly; I can barely notice it. By the way, it came right off with some Oxyclean. RazzerRotflol
Hope that was helpful to you.Smiler
