i was just wondering if anyone has tried these. i picked up trial size lotions in candy cane juice and berry merry rose today at ULTA. they have quite a few scents that smell great. the scents also come in larger lotions and hand soaps.

I've tried some of the lotions before. They're kinda thin & have a texture similar to a gel. I've tried Vanilla Spice & Chocolate Mint. The Chocolate Mint smells really good. I remember that Vanilla Spice smelled really good too, but it gave me a warming sensation when I applied it after a shower.

I've come to realize that this board is VERY BAD for me!!! I just read this thread about OPI Avojuice and found a website where I just placed an order for some:

I bought a 1 oz. Sugar Cookie, a 1 oz. Berry Merry Rose, a 6.6 oz. Gingerbread, a 6.6 oz. Candy Cane, and a 6.6 oz. Mocha Mint. All together I paid $28.75 with shipping (shipping's only $1 via UPS Ground).

I know, mardi. I wanted the bigger one, too, but settled for the 1 oz. I'm gonna keep an eye on their site to see if they get it back in soon.

I wish these were a bit thicker, but I love them too. I was at ULTA last Sat. and didn't even look for the holiday scents in them. Completely forgot they would be out by now until I saw this thread, so yes, this board really is dangerous.

I'll have to go back to ULTA when I get some more time to see if they have the Sugar Cookie. I haven't tried it yet, but I usually like cookie scents so I'm looking forward to testing it.

I really like these in the summer, they are a little thinner in consistency. I think I have pretty much tried most of them. Candy Cane is good. One of my favorites is Key Lime. The Sugar Cookie has been discontinued, it was a LE scent the past 2 holiday seasons along with Gingerbread.

I have the Mocha Mint Juicie but I haven't used it. I got it at Trade Secret Salon.

I can't believe I just got my order this afternoon from the link above. I placed it yesterday morning. Talk about speedy delivery! Anyway, the lotion is pretty thin, but they smell great! Not so keen on the Berry Merry Rose, though. It's okay.

OPI's holiday photos are out & the LE holiday scents are Pumpkin Butter & Berry Merry Rose.

Speaking of Avojuice products, I've seen quite a few at Ulta on clearance lately. They have a lot of the 20 oz. bottles on clearance, but I'm not sure of the price. I've also seen a few holiday items appear on the clearance shelves recently. The store I went to in Durham had some Candy Cane mini lotions for about 40 cents & the store I normally go to had 6 oz. Berry Merry Rose lotions for $1.99.

In addition to that, AveYou still has some of the Candy Cane stuff in stock.

I have a Berry Juicie lotion and it smells very bright and fresh! The texture is probably the thinnest of any lotion I've ever tried, but the scent does last for awhile.

I agree that the lotions are very watery but the scent does seem to stay on pretty well.

Avojuice has 2 new scents out now. I havent had a chance to smell them yet, but they are in my newest Barnums catalog. Once I smell them I will post a review.

Raspberry Violet? Hmm...that sounds like something I might have to try. I hope they have these at Ulta when I go to check out the other OPI stuff. Thanks for the info, Gizmo.

Megan for some reason I thought you would be interested in the Raspberry Viloet. The scent name just reminded me of you, and something you would like. You will have to let me know if you find it, if you cant I can definitely get it for you. They also normally sell mini sizes, I think 1oz. of all their scents at Barnums.

I stopped in Trade Secret today & saw the new Avojuice lotions out. I smelled Raspberry Violet & thought it was good. It's not exactly Violet Bouquet, but it's pretty close. Both the berry & violet notes are detectable in this one.
