About the free purse size coupon, which items are they?

I got the new Temptations Pie a la Mode gloss free with this coupon.

Glosses & balms, purse mirrors, travel sized items, nail polish, keychains, TBS cuticle products should all be covered if they are within the dollar limit.

I used that coupon 2 days ago, and the SA only allowed me to get a travel size of lotion/shower gel stuff. I tried to get the free lip gloss like you mentioned but she wouldn't let me.
I also called bath & body works yesterday and was told the same thing. You know none of those travel size items retail $9.

They did the same thing to me I was mad

I went to BBW over lunch today to use this coupon on the new Pecan Passion gloss, and the SA gave me a hard time about it. I had to argue a little (I was very nice about it, just can't think of a better word to use than "argue" right now!), I just agreed with her that it's a confusing coupon, and the lip gloss *does* fit in a purse, and there's no wording on what you can and cannot use the coupon on, other than it's up to a $9 value...She let me use it

Yesterday I used the "Free Purse Size Product coupon" for a Pecan Passion lip gloss, along with the "Buy 3 Products In-store, Get the Lowest Value One Free" and a "$10 off of $30 Purchase" coupon.

They may have been having a slow day, and I had no problem at all. But then, each item I purchased was near $40. It always seems to depend on the sales associate; I even went to a BBW that I don't normally frequent.

LONELYSTAR - If it were me, I would call Customer Service AGAIN and let them know how I felt about the "Purse Size Product Coupon" if I was told they would only honor it for some pathetic $4.00 item! Most of the time, the stores I frequent on a regular basis will take up two coupons PLUS a receipt-generated "$10 off of $30 purchase" without any question. And these are the stores that BBW-founder L.H.Wexner frequents; they enforce customer satisfaction.

Sounds like Lonelystar has SA's that are not very customer friendly.

The "Purse Size" coupon clearly has a dollar amount on it. The "buy 3 get one free" does not and could be up to the store's Manager to decide.

The SA's have to key in the coupon code and it will ring as valid if it is indeed.

I went to another bbw store yesterday and asked about that coupon. I was told that the reason it said up to $9 value because flagship store has some travel size lotion/shower gel (other brands) that is $9 value. Well, I've never been to a flagship store before, so I can't argue.
Does anyone know flagship has something $9 value???

The flagships have Fekkai mini shampoo & conditioner for $9. The regular stores don't carry those sizes. I think there might've been some Davies Gate stuff in the travel sized item section in front of the register, but I'm not sure as to what those products specifically were.

IIRC, the Davies Gate trial-sized hand lotions are $8, and I know I remember seeing something trial-sized last night that was $9 but I couldn't tell you for the life of me what it was. I was actually DREAMING about product last night; how scary is that?!

I have another coupons-related question. Both BBW and VS ask for your home phone # at checkout to make a coupons mailing list. Are cell phone numbers acceptable for this (will they still work to ensure you get your coupons)? I don't have a landline phone.

I always tend to give out my cell phone # for coupons. It's gone in phases w/ mail coupons for me. For awhile, I was getting a lot of coupons in the mail, but not so much now. I actually do have a landline, but I never use it, so I'm not in the habit of giving it out. Maybe I'll have to try that when I go to BBW tonight & see if I start getting any mail coupons.
