I know we all love our scented products, but what about unscented ones? Are there any that you like?
Lately my skin has become very sensitive weeping, so I'd like to try not to use scented lotions and shower stuff for awhile.
Any suggestions?

Fryl,

You might check your local health food store, Target or CVS for unscented body washes and lotions.

Some good brands are Tom's of Maine, Alba, and Jason. They are all reasonably priced.

If you 'Google' unscented body lotion and unscented body washes there are more suggestions.

I'm sure you can find some products locally versus ordering online.

But..check out drugstore.com anyway.

Both The Body Shop and Body Time (in California) have unscented items but they are rather pricey.

Many people with sensitive skin are also allergic to the detergent action of shower gels.

Also the ingredient (actiscent) which is used to make the product fragrance free is an allergin as the non fragrance IS a fragrance/deodorizer to mask the smells of the chemicals in the product itself.

Let's hear what you find and like when you locate a product.

You found Lime Sugar which even excaped MY radar.

I am hoping it's temporary too.crossfingers

I got some Gold Bond Chamomile lotion last night. It's unscented and for sensitive skin. I used it already, and it made my skin so soft and didn't irritate it at all.
Banana
I also got an Alba unscented lotion, but I haven't tried that out yet. I'll definitely report back once I have.Smiler

Fryl, another good brand to try is Aveeno. They have lotions that are unscented and very moisturizing, and you can find them at the drugstore. Smiler

Good thinking, Meg!! Headbob
I completely forgot about Aveeno. It seems I always overlook their products. I'll probably pick up their unscented shower gels one of these days. Thanks for the suggestion.Smiler
I had to return the Alba lotion, because it smelled like glue to me.Frowner
But the Gold Bond is working really well for me.
