The best VS Garden scent that I've come across is unfortunately discontinued but always pops up @ the Semi-Annual Sales. It's called Passionate Kisses & some on here say it smells like Dr. Pepper, but that's what I like about it. I think I finally came across a description of it on Ebay & it said that it was a "cherry vanilla" scent. Other than that, the best current Garden scent is Pure Seduction. It's a tropical scent & somewhat reminds me of BBW Plumeria. And it's really pretty too. I agree w/ Anan about too many people wearing Love Spell. I only have that one in a bubble bath. I actually think Forever Romance, which some consider to be a identical twin to Love Spell, to be much better. Since I do have both of them, I put both of them together & I can tell the difference between them now. But I would stay far away from Amber Romance & Sweet Temptation. I really did try to like Sweet Temptation, but I got sick of it again.

I'm pretty good at recommending VS garden fragrances.. Here's my breakdown of them:
Endless Love - it's ok. Nothing special here.. it is the softest scent in the collection, I'd say. Kinda like a freesia.
Sweet Temptation - the first time I wore this it made me sick! I've gotten better about it, though.. it's super sweet, just like it's namesake and makes a good air spray. It's peach, amber, and I think a little melon.
Vanilla Lace - I hate vanilla fragrances, but love this one. It's not too heavy or overpowering at all and a friend once described it as smelling like a "big ol' cookie." Definitely a good one - it was once discontinued but brought back by popular demand.
Forbidden Fantasy - I remember when this one was launched. It's the most tropical of the garden ones. It's Passion Fruit, Jasmin, and Mango.
Pure Seduction - the #2 most popular one, even though most people hate it when they first try it. It's sooo fruity, almost juicy. Kinda smells like Kool-Aid. It's plum, melon, and freesia.
Amber Romance - my least favorite. It's vanilla, amber, and cherry. Most similar to the discontinued Passionate Kisses.
Love Spell - the most popular ever since it came out. It's a really pretty, soft fragrance - just don't go overboard or it'll make you sick. It's raspberry, cherry, and peach.
Forever Romance - I love this one. Most people don't even give it a try on their skin, but if they would, they'd realize that once it dries it's an amazing fresh fragrance. When it was launched, I would come home after work and wonder why my clothes would smell so good. I love this one as a room spray, too. It's Violet, red berries, and soft musk.
My Desire - my favorite of them all. This is the newest. It's described as Romantic, but I think it's more fun and soothing. It's grapefruit, jasmin, and mango with a hint of vanilla musk.
Pear Glace - this one's growing on me. It smells just like those cheap walgreen's pear scents, though. I remember that this one has violet in it as well.
Finally,
Strawberries and Champagne - This is an oooold one. It's still one of the top 4 for giftsets, though. I guess it's okay.. I noticed that the body butter smells the best, though.



I could go on forever about VS Beauty products. I love them all.

I think all that VS is getting for Semi-Annual sale for discontinued scents is Passionate Kisses, Enchanted Apple, and Pretty in Pink. I wish they'd start bringing back some older ones. I'd love to try Sweet Talk.

I've never really smelled the VS fragrances and I always get confused because the names don't really say much about what they smell like. I refuse to go into a VS by myself (I need a girl with me as backup) and I don't think many of my girlfriends like me dragging them in there so I can spend hours smelling the fragrances. Oh well - I'm not to hung up about it.

Amanda, thank you so much for those great descriptions! I usually get so overwhelmed in there smelling the Garden scents, because they seem so similar when trying them one after the other. You're right though, once they're smelled separately, they are all unique in their own way.

I have Love Spell, Pure Seduction and Vanilla Lace. I need to try Forever Romance and My Desire again. I definitely want to try the ones that are returning for the sale too.

I have VS stuff in Pear Glace, Love Spell, Forbidden Fantasy, Tropical Nectar, Sweet Temptation & Amber Romance. I really want to get Pure Seduction stuff and I haven't tried My Desire yet.

I love Forever Romance! It's my favourite Garden Collection scent.

I'm not impressed w/ all the ones that are returning for the sale other than Passionate Kisses. Maybe I won't end up spending so much $ @ the VS sale, but I'm thinking that's a good thing b/c I'll be spending all my $ @ VS after the sale. I have enough merchandise credit to do the 3 for $11 deal on discontinued Garden products. But when it comes to the discontinued Garden products, Enchanted Apple & Pretty In Pink are VS's versions of Creamy Coconut & Coco Cabana. Pretty In Pink is so awful. It actually is a grapefruit smelling scent & there's grapefruit scents currently present @ BBW & VS, so it's nothing worth spending $ on. It's the only pink thing from VS that I really don't like.

I love the new Temptations, especially the new Home Fragrance Oils. I'm totally a HFO nut these days -- don't even mess with candles anymore! The oils are SO much stronger and make my whole house smell awesome. I love the Body washes too. Great line-up this year!

Regarding the Tutti Dolci discussion ... what I've heard is that Lemon Meringue is going bye-bye and the TD Lotions (all of them) aren't going to be carried anymore. Wouldn't it be nice to know for SURE what they'll be doing and what will be available and WHEN??

Regarding TD Pineapple Chiffon... this stuff is HEAVENLY and if you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend!! I doubt it will be in the June sale but wouldn't that be nice? I'm still working on my 1st jar of souffle and use it very sparingly! However, I have 7 more jars
in-waiting so no worries ... LOL I have some EDT perfume too but haven't decided if I want to open it yet!

I knew I forgot that one.. I kept counting only 12 and knew there were 13. I couldn't figure it out which one I was missing for the life of me! Romantic Wish has taken a loooong time to grow on me. It smells really good on the skin, though.

Is pineapple chiffon still available anywhere other than ebay?

You could probably swap with someone, but it's hard to get people to part with hard-to-find scents and discontinued items.

I haven't seen this one anywhere YET! However, I'd love to have some and will definitely keep my eyes open for it. It would be lovely to see some at the sale!

Oh I was thinking that TD Lemon Meringue was going to get discontinued since it got knocked out of the souffle sampler. I that scent, but if it does get discontinued, that means I'll be stocking up on body washes.

After using the Temptations stuff for about a week now, i've decided that I don't like Tropical Colada. Smells good in the bottle but not so much on me. Too much coconut, not enough pineapple.
