My daughter was shopping at a regular BBW today and was told that an outlet store is coming to my little town in June!!! I'm kind of surprised since my town has a population of about 1,000, but we do have a small outlet mall with about 20 stores. I am so happy!! I will be so broke!

That's great and I know I would be as excited as you are if I ever get one closer to me! I wonder if more outlets are on the way in other areas too. My nearest outlet is apparently in PA, but that's if you would consider approx. 77 miles away nearby LOL. It's so frustrating that there aren't any around here, especially since I live in a highly populated area where I know it would do well. There's even a Premium Outlets mall about 35-40 mins. away that I would gladly drive to if they added a BBW. Yes

My nearest outlet is 3 hours away, I think I'd die of happiness if one opened closer to me!

Does anyone have an updated list of all the current outlet stores? Or has anyone head of any new openings in South/North Carolina or Georgia?

Mocha, the last I heard, there was an outlet opened in Calhoun, GA. I want to say that one's on I-85 between Atlanta & Greenville, but I'm not 100% sure.

I agree they should have more outlets opened in the GA/SC/NC area. Myrtle Beach would be an ideal choice for them since there's 2 Tanger outlets & lots of tourists. And I happen to be in that area at least once a yr., so that would be an added bonus. winking

Thanks for the information! That outlet is a little bit further away than the Gaffney, SC one, but when I'm going in that direction anyway it'd be nice to stop by and check it out.

The really frustrating thing about the Tanger outlets is that a lot of them do have Bath and Body Works... but they are regular stores, not outlets. Grrr. I hear about a B&BW in an outlet mall and it gets my hopes up.

Okay, I must have been out of the loop for a while..can someone tell me what an outlet BBW store would carry that a regular BBW store wouldn't? And is there one in CT? I've noticed a few of the stores (which I believe were formerly flagship stores) around here have severely downsized, if anything..

An outlet BBW store is basically like the Semi-Annual Sale in pricing & product availability, except that it goes on all the time.

HTH.

On the Bath & Body Works website in the store locator, they now include outlets as an option. Just put your info. in and within how many miles, and it will let you know if there is one in your area. Smiler Outlets are great because they always get discontinued items at a great price. An example last time I was there they had Temptations 3-in-1s for $3.99, the Iced Tea Twist 3-in-1 was $1.99.

gizmo923-
Thanks, that's helpful & I am in fact looking to get my hands on some lemongrass sage. I'll have to figure out where the outlets are, or maybe the 800# can tell me. Have any of you who live near an outlet seen this one around?

Well I ended up finding an outlet about 20 miles outside of Chicago, and not only did the have lemongrass sage shower gel & splash, but they were only $2.99 each plus $6 shipping! The grand total was $25 plus change for 4 shower gels and 2 splashes. They didn't have any lotion, but I will check back on that in the future. Thanks again gizmo923, that was a great idea...I'm so excited for my goodies to come, and I didn't even have to duke it out on ebay with anyone for them..Yippy!!!!

Glad to hear you were able to find what you were looking for after calling the outlet, Sophie! I placed two outlet orders during the last SAS, and got some Classics and Temptations for .99 & $2.99 and was so excited. They really have great prices and usually an SA is very nice about taking an order.

Yay Sophie!!! thewave I am so happy that it worked out for you. Big Grin I know how it is when they discontinue something that you love, and the excitement you feel when you find it.

I am stopping at the BBW outlet near me on Saturday. I will see if they have the lotion available for you, if you would like. Smiler

Thanks guys, I was in fact so excited about finding my beloved lemongrass sage and at such a good deal to boot (and how cool about the .99 and 2.99 deals, marissaJMF)! I tend to go through products pretty quickly & hate paying full price for them since it can get expensive, so when something that I like gets discontinued I usually force myself to move on to something else. How cool about the outlet stores, I didn't even know that they exist! Gizmo923, thank you for offering to look..if you happen to notice any lemongrass sage lotions, do let me know & I'll call & order some. The lotions are usually my favorite, though it's always a pleasure to find shower gels & splashes, too!
