I see on the BBW website that several scents (Fresh Pineapple, Freshwater Cucumber, Brown Sugar & Fig, Sparkling Peach and Chocolate Amber) are $5 for most or all the items in those scents. Does this mean they're being discontinued? the only one I really like is BSF, but my daughters like Freshwater Cucumber. If I thought they were going to be dc'd I would stock up.

I just came back from a BBW store around the corner from me & I noticed these were in fact on sale today for $5. These scents are also starting to dwindle from the shelves, so that's usually a big red flad that they are being phased out. I wouldn't go too crazy paying $5 a piece for them, though. You can probably get a much better deal for them at the June sale & stock up then. Good luck!

I just got a email regarding the $5 Signature scents.

Perhaps these particular ones are not selling.

The official reason was to "help fragrances that don't move quickly" so it's not officially discontinued but they are now on un-official discontune watch.

I'd be surprised if BSF were discontinued because it is a pretty popular fragrance (and one of my faves) - but since the temp is warmer it doesn't sell quite as much.

Since Sparkling Peach has already been the talk of discontinuation rumors & we already know Chocolate Amber is LE, I wouldn't be surprised if these were the next scents to say adios. After all, this is the same tactic they used w/ Magnolia Blossom, WCB, Pink Grapefruit, & Tropical Passionfruit last year.

I like Sparkling Peach, but I actually need to try out the one body wash I do have in that scent before I buy anymore. So I won't be buying any till the Jun. sale, unless I can get some for free w/ coupons before then.

Ok now I KNOW it's been too long since I've gone to BBW...Chocolate Amber?? I'm going to have to make time to go there and check that one out. Sounds like it might be something I'd like.

I took advantage yesterday of this deal. I got 1 shower gel and 1 body lotion in Fresh Pineapple, Sparkling Peach, and Brown Sugar and Fig. After several stops at different BBWs and coupons, they broke down to $2.50 a piece. I am going to pair them together and give them as game prizes at my sisters bridal shower. After it is all said and done they will receive 2 products that cost $5.00, but looks like we spent more.

I received that email too and I got excited until I saw the selection...none of those are favorites with me but if I had to choose, I'd go with the pineapple.

Hmm...I might have to stock up a bit on Fresh Pineapple, then...poss. some Freshwater Cucumber lotion as well. That's about the only form of it I really like; the rest is TOO cucumbery.

I'm still excited about the possibility of some stuff going away, though...maybe more new stuff on the horizon!

I'm guessing that the others are safe for now? Brown Sugar & Fig is one of my favorite BBW scents.

It's funny, I never liked BS&F until recently. I picked some up for a friend since she likes it, and I told her it was $5 at the moment. So, I tried it again while I was there on Sat. I have to say it has grown on me and I actually really like it now, so I'm with you and would be sad to see it go at this point.

The other one I hope is safe is Sparkling Peach, even though many have been saying (including a manager at one of my stores) that it's 'on the way out' for a while. I asked while on the phone with BBW.com about an order, and the SA told me that to her knoweledge not all the scents that are now $5 are going. She mentioned the Fond Farewells, and said as long as they're not there they should be safe. I guess it's best to take that info with a grain of salt, but I thought I would pass along what I was told anyway.

BBW is having their $5/25 signature collection sale on all scents. I didn't pick up anything though-wasn't in the mood. I have a lot of gel and lotions left from the last 2 SAS...so I'll wait until the next one to stock up.
