The new Signature Collection packaging arrives in stores on 12/1. I like the new packaging for the EDT, but it's going to take some adjusting to the new packaging for the lotions & shower gels.

Wow, what a difference from what we are used to by BBW! I think the bottles are pretty and unique, and they accomplish BBW's goal of having "affordable luxury" products much more with this new look.

It will be interesting to see how the other scents will look in the new packaging! Yes

I'm new

I am not crazy about the new packaging as I believe the current style is the best yet. The 'natural' look of the early 90's was nice too.

I guess it's just me and my computer, but the picture doesn't show up for me. All I see is a red symbol...maybe indicating the picture was taken down? From the sounds of it though, it seems like they're going for more of a high-end type of look with the new packaging.

Edited to say: For some reason now after I posted I can see the picture. It's definitely a major change that I'm not too crazy about, but I might like the look of other scents besides JCB, which will be interesting to see.

Signature Collection Shower Gel "Description"

shower

Most (if not "all") of the Ohio stores have had the new packaging since the first of October. It is very classy-looking, IMO.

Signature Collection Packaging - Shower Gels

I received an email from BBW the first week of October. Some of the SAs said they were "one of only 19 stores" Roll Eyes testing it out ... but the new packaging has been at every OHIO store on the list (per the email), plus any other one off of the list that I visited.

Thanks for the link, Shelle. Now after seeing a clearer pic of the shower gel, I can say I like the new bottles and it's nice to see a different shape after all this time.

Meh.
Crap

I am a die-hard BBW fan, so I suppose I will not like any change of the bottles from the recognizable ribbed cylinder shape. However, I think this new design for the bottles is too radical and plain, eliminating the last recognizable part of BBW from the store's early days. Now the bottles look like they could be from any other brand, whether an overpriced department store line or a convincing knock-off drug store line.

I liked the bottles the way they were.

I think I will need to see them in person. I am shocked that they changed the packaging though. They will definitely take some getting used to. Yes

Maybe it's just me, but I really, REALLY like the new packaging. Looks very pretty and much more elegant. I'm having a hard time resisting the urge to run out and replace my "staple" items right now. Big Grin

The BBW near me has all new packaging already, and I think it looks nice. I'll bet that will also mean lots of good sale goodies in January with the old packaging.

If you're curious as to what scents are available in the new packaging, here's how they've classfied them.

Sexy:
Black Amethyst
Japanese Cherry Blossom
Midnight Pomegranate
Sensual Amber
Velvet Tuberose

Comforting:
Black Raspberry Vanilla
Moonlight Path
Sea Island Cotton
Warm Vanilla Sugar

Fresh:
Coconut Lime Verbena
Cucumber Melon
Dancing Waters
Irresistible Apple
Mango Mandarin
Rainkissed Leaves

Romantic:
Cherry Blossom
Enchanted Orchid
Sweet Pea
Vanilla Noir
Wild Honeysuckle

I may get some Enchanted Orchid products in the new packaging. But I still don't see myself buying any mists unless it's to use it as room spray.

Since there are no products in the old packaging on the shelves, I like the new versions better.

Puke Melon and that ghastly Velvet Tuberose in faux crystal EDT bottles is rather funny and ironic.

The old packaging was kind of 90s.

There were lines at BBW today with the GREAT deals they've been having. And only ONE cashier! BBW was astute enough to include the Holiday fragrances in their latest offer. Not totally sure, I think it was B3G2F..save up to $53. The EDTs were B2G1F. I was able to snag two bags full of stash for under $40...with coupons of course.

Meanwhile, The Body Shop was empty.

Interesting to note BBW is opening more new stores while competitors are closing stores.

Target is now selling Origins, Clarins and Kiehl's. Go figure.
