I have decided to sell off my collection of B&BW stuff. I am trying to get into photography more, and lens are pretty expensive, plus I never really get to wear any of my stuff since my daughter is allergic to almost everything. So, I am going to be ebaying (is that a word??) most of it. I have tons of stuff, from Tutti Dolci to Fei Banana to Temptations. So, the question is, do I try to sell it as sets (one lotion or souffle, body splash or perfume, bath wash, etc)....or individually? I do appreciate all the help girls. Seeing as how they aren't coming out with anything great lately, I don't feel like I will be missing much. I get just as much just reading about it here, and living though you guys Thanks!

Wow Brandi, it sounds like you have a great collection. I am jealous!!!
Since all the items you have mentioned are discontinued, I dont think you will have any problem selling them. Personally I think you should sell them individually. I think you would make more money that way. Plus you can watch items on ebay and see how they end up selling. So maybe you could "watch" items similar to yours individually and in sets, and see what way would be most beneficial to you. Good Luck !!!

I think it depends on what you have because some things may just go together and will sell well as a set or "lot".
I am a buyer on eBay and I know sometimes I turn more toward lots just because I feel like I am getting more for my money and everything will come packaged in one, so I am kind of saving on shipping by buying more at once.
If someone loves a particular scent, they will probably want to stock up on a bunch of items in that scent, so it is easier if it already comes together. They may not want to do many separate purchases for similar items because it may cost them more in shipping. People love combined shipping costs on eBay.
I agree with Gizmo though, your items will most likely sell either way since they are discontinued. I'd say do a little eBay searching for the items you would place up for bid. If some items on there have 0 bids individually and are about to end, maybe make the ones you have a "lot." Or if items as a lot do have many bids, maybe that is more the way to go with your items.
I think it really depends on the item itself and how badly people want it, but researching will help you find out!

I agree that it really does just depend on the item. One thing I have seen people do... They will put up a bunch of items individually (or even several lots) and they will write in the description "Each additional item you win from me ships for free." This is a good way to encourage people to bid on more than one lot.

I just got back from the post office after sendign a few packages myself. The rates have gone up since the last time I had to send anything. Also, packaging materials and the ebay/paypal fees might eat in to some of your profit. At any rate, I second observing for a while.
