I went in to give these a sniff tonight. I smelled the lotions & shower gels in each scent.

Berry Sugar: This one is quite nice. It reminded me of something I've smelled before, but it doesn't smell like any of the other berry scents that VS has had out this year.

Coconut Sugar: I agree w/ Jeff that this doesn't smell like Coconut Passion. I didn't really smell a suntan lotion smell to it; the scent smelled fruity to me. This one wasn't bad.

Sweet Sugar: I could detect a nice vanilla scent in the body wash, but the lotion had that plasticy smell that Sugar Candy had.

I didn't buy any & I might not. I still think the packaging looks tacky & the products themselves don't have any color in them.

Stopped by VS on one of my exercise walks around the mall.

The lines were out the door.

I guess people were taking advantage of a free Garden Scent with the purchase of any 3, 5 or 7 items.

I noticed many customers in line had SEVERAL large VS shopping totes FULL of Garden Scents!
Whether they were purchasing them for resale or whatever am not sure. They were literally picking the shelves bare. Some of the totals rung were well over $1000!


Since I have quite a few gift cards and store credits remaining...decided to give Berry Sugar another chance and did a test buy.

IMO it is VERY similar to Sweet Talk!!!

I still haven't smelled the new scents, but I plan on going over to VS this weekend.

I gave Berry Sugar a resniff today. It didn't smell like Sweet Talk to me, but it's pretty awesome in the mist form. So I decided to cave on that even though I'm still not too fond of the packaging.

I really loved all of these. I didnt expect to like coconut sugar at all but I love it. Sweet sugar smells similar to sugar candy but I think this one is much much better. Berry sugar is by far my favorite. The scent description said something about cranberry but I get raspberry and a little sugar, not cranberry.

I still haven't gotten a chance to test any of these since I was away on vacation when they came out, and I haven't been to VS since I got back this week. Even though I think VS has overdone berry scents (or at least scents with berry as part of the name) lately, I'll admit I think Berry Sugar sounds good.

I know they're LE, so I hope I do get a chance to pick up a few while they're still around. Does anyone know how long they'll be out for?

I tried Berry Kiss for the first time today. It's smells like a sweet floral to me, I didn't get a berry note.

I really like the three new "sugar" scents. One of them definitely smells like Sugar Candy. I think I like Berry Sugar Best, but Coconut Sugar isn't far behind. I was really tempted to buy a bottle or two, but I got a couple of other things instead. I may go back for lotions in all three scents.

A coworker had bought the body cream in Berry Kiss and let me try some. I don't care for the scent too much at first sniff, but the dry-down on my skin smells great. I like the combination of sweet berries and roses. I think I'll be getting a body butter in this.

Anemone, did you mean body cream or wash, because I don't think there's a body butter in this line.

Fryl, maybe you're thinking of the Berry Sugar not coming in a body butter? Because I looked on the VS website, and they do have a body butter in Berry Kiss.

Yes, you're right, Anemone, I was thinking of Berry Sugar.
I got a little confused; there are too many berry scents.
I really wished there was a body butter in the sugar scents, because I would have liked to get something thicker than the lotion, and I don't see myself buying the shimmering body creams.

I really want to try these Sugar scents at some point, lol.

For those who like Love Spell, VS has a LE 3.4 EDT spray in a purple box that says Limited Edition 2008...and it only costs $24.

The bottle itself is very classy.

Interesting to note: Parfums de Coeur just came out with a Love Spell CLONE! So it must be very popular. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

VS also has a new mens' fragrance called Sexual Secret. Of course no one in the store knew what I was taking about. It's on the website and kind of pricey. Don't particularly care for VS mens' stuff.
