I think it smells ok. Not fantastic, but not bad. It didn't really stand out to me. I don't like the mist, though. It's one of those really thick shimmer mists that just sprays out in a steam of guck.

I tried Isle Of Pink today & I like it. It's a tropical floral scent to me.

I agree that the shimmer mist is horrible. I ended up getting glitter all over my hands b/c I touched one on accident.

I tried this scent today and liked the perfume, I thought it was kind of sweet smelling. However, I sprayed the mist too just because, and I thought that smelled different than the perfume. I felt like the mist smelled more tropical, whereas the perfume was sweet. I liked the perfume better, but I might wait to purchase it.

I finally smelled Isle of Pink today. It's a very nice fragrance, but it seems like one of those fragrances that I'd get sick of quickly. It's very fruity, sweet, but also a bit heavy.
But if I do get a new fragrance from VS it'll be this one or VS Ooh La La.

In the fall of last year, the VS at the Galleria (the largest mall in Houston) was renovated to include an attached Pink store. I had heard about these stores opening in California a couple years ago, and I was very excited to have this store open near me. Even though I live about an hour drive from this mall, I visit almost weekly; it helps that the largest BBW flagship in the area is also there.


There are numerous unique items available at the Pink store that are not available at regular VS stores: shirts, pants, jackets, swimwear, luggage and other accessories, etc. Some of the items are not even available in the VS catalog. I have been addicted to buying Pink merchandise since the line first came out several years ago, mainly because I love the cute dog prints on them, and this store gives me my fix.

While I was at a VS store yesterday, I managed to sneak a peek at the beauty notebook for the SAs. It mentioned something about a new fragrance called Back To Pink coming out in Jul. The notes were candied citrus, waterlily, & cotton. I think it's supossed to be in perfume & shimmer mist forms. So far, it's sounding interesting except for the cotton part.

Back To Pink sounds interesting. I agree, the cotton doesnt really sound great with candied citrus. It just sounds like a weird combo, but who knows. Hopefully it smells good, I cant wait to try it. Thanks for the info. Megan.

I got a chance to sniff Back To Pink today & I it. It reminds me of the original Pink fragrance, but w/ the citrus note kicked up a little more. I actually think this is a fragrance more appropriate for spring/summer than fall. And I actually misspoke a bit in my previous post; the mist is non-shimmer.

Thanks for the info and the great description, Megan! I didn't even know this one was in stores since I haven't been to VS in a while. I'll have to stop by VS later in the week to give it a sniff, because it really does sound good. When you mentioned the notes in your first post about it, I thought it might not be for me since I'm not crazy about scents that have cotton notes. Now, since it seems like the citrus is more present I'm looking forward to checking it out. I'm so glad the mist is non-shimmer too.
