I think this is sad. I am interested in all the other brands they have like Savannah Bee and C.O. Bigelow ect. I would be bored with them if they went back to being an only BBW brand.

The SA told me today that Vanilla Sandalwood is definitely discontinued in candles, spray and scentports. I'm sad because that was my favorite home scent.

Hmm...I would disagree with the SA who said vanilla sandalwood is discontinued. It's definitely one of the most popular scents and I don't recall seeing it on the discontinued list.

Thanks for letting me know. If you find out anything about the vanilla sandalwood please let me know.

The info I got was from something posted on the bulletin board in the break area of the back room. It was a list of all of the fragrances being discontinued & included home fragrance, the various SHC fragrances, etc. That may have changed; I haven't been into work in going on a month now Eeker , so i dunno what the latest news is. Hmm...I'll have to go back and double check on that...I would be surprised if it were d/c-ed, though, since it's so popular

I know--one of my managers was heartbroken about it; that's her absolute favorite scent (that and Sandalwood Rose AT).

I'm thinkin' I might head into my store today to shop a little and I'll try to see if I can find out anything about that or anything else. Smiler

As some have suspected here, I was told by a manager at one of my local stores that Sparkling Peach is "on its way out the door" too. Is there any way you could double check on that as well, edward? It's not that I don't believe or trust the manager there, but I would be very disappointed to see it go so soon... An SA at the store overheard and said she wasn't happy about that either.

They're discontinuing way too many fruit scents (TP, PG, EC, SP, and maybe Fresh Pineapple?) which have only recently been replaced by mainly floral (JCB, VT, Enchanted Orchid and the new Blossom one that is partially floral) scented products. I hate to complain, but that's disappointing to me since most floral scents are too strong for me. I've always liked JCB but that's about it right now.

There hasn't been official word about Sparkling Peach at all. It's just been odd that it's been on sale this entire time. Certain people think that that means it's getting discontinued, but I think there is just an overstock in it (as we were able to fill an entire room transition cabinet with SP).

The fruit scent to be worried about is Mango Mandarin, since that was pulled off shelves in the 600-SKU test stores.

Thanks so much for that info! I'd much rather trust that than what I was told LOL. However, she said it was on it's way out since it didn't meet their expectations in sales, because "apparently it didn't sell as well as the older scent Peach Nectar". I don't find that hard to believe, but it hasn't been out nearly long enough to be d/c-ed in my opinion.

I heard that it was put out on sale tables today at both 50% and 75% off.

I'm gonna dig for some store mail tomorrow and possibly pry Store Services for info.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Eeker Mad I LOVE MM! And I'm dirt poor right now and can't afford to stock up! Guess I'll be digging through the stash for returnables to take back tomorrow so I can load up.

Grrrrr....why they discontinue pleasant fragrances like that and keep #$%@#%*& like Puke Melon and and trot out nastiness like VT and Chocolate Amber is completely beyond me. Curse I am REALLY NOT HAPPY right now.

That sucks that Sparkling Peach is being put on 75% off clearance. Crap I thought that if they were going to discontinue it, they would at least wait until the summer to do so. I'm starting to like Sparkling Peach a little bit more.

I have a body wash in this scent & wasn't planning to use it until sometime early in the spring. I'm not sure whether to stock up on any more yet. Between BBW discontinuing Sparkling Peach, a lot of Temptations scents I like, & maybe discontinuing CO Bigelow Lemon, I have a feeling that a majority of body washes I'll be buying in the future will be VS Secret Garden & Philosophy.

Thanks in advance for trying to do that, and I hope you're able to find out something. I was going to call the customer relations number they have on every receipt, but I'm not sure that they would be willing to tell me.

Okay everyone. NOTHING has been sent out about Sparkling Peach being discontinued.

They just put it on promo for overstocks.

I'm gonna keep my eye out for more store mail.

Officially there has been no word about Peach. (but there was no official word when EC, PG, TPF, MB, WCB and Gard. were all $5 for months and months either.) I am rather disappointed with all the floral scents they have been pushing. And according to some info the company sent us 70% of customers prefer the floral fragrance category (I am in the other 30%, JCP being the only floral I can tolerate.) I would say to everyone that agrees with me two things 1. Let your $$ talk and don't buy the florals and 2. Call 1-800-395-1001 and tell them to come out with some *good* fruity scents.

Same here about most florals. They make me gag. I prefer fruity or clean scents.

I was at BBW today, and they had lots of the older style loofahs out. They were not on sale, they were $6.00. I looked on the website and they have 6 different colors on there now. I am not sure then if these are discontinued. When I called, the Customer Service rep. said they will no longer be sold on-line or in stores idunno so who knows now, I am hoping she was wrong crossfingers

I can't believe 70% of the customers prefer floral scents.wow
I don't think I have to mention I don't like florals.
I haven't been spending nearly as much money at BBW as I used to so hopefully they'll get the message. Razzer

I call BS on that 70% floral preference statistic as well. I think those numbers are artificially inflated because a lot of those scents are the ones that are heavily promoted, no matter what the season is. Crap Also people tend to use florals as a default gift option when they don't know a person's scent preferences.

I don't mind floral scents as long as they're good. Yes The problem w/ BBW is that most of the florals they've had in the past couple of years have been too heavy or overrated.
