It's weird--today we had ALL people asking for everything discontinued, all day long. We finally sold off the last of the WCB we had in stock--2 lonely EDTs. They were sharing a shelf with all we had left of MB, which was maybe half a dozen EDTs. Well, until I found that box of bubble bath and slung it on the shelf. At least it looks a little less sad now. But people were still clamoring for Night-Blooming Jasmine, more Exotic Coconut than what we had, even Crystal Blue Waters! It was like the Twilight Zone.

Man, I can't wait till the SAS!

Well, I honestly don't really care for any of those scents. I guess I'm just kind of sad that they're discontinuing scents that really haven't been around for long - weren't all of those scents (except for maybe Gardenia?) introduced in 2006? I'm sure it has to do with low sales on those scents, but it's just kind of sad that they discontinue them so fast, when other scents like Puke Melon live on for ages.

Yes, it is sad that all the scents introduced in 2006 (w/ the exceptions of the overpimped JCB & Sensual Amber) are getting cut. Gardenia deserved to go during the summer 2005 Semi-Annual Sale, but they decided to let Violet Bouquet go. And yes, I still am mad about that 2 1/2 yrs. later b/c I haven't really found a suitable replacement since.

I think I might look @ the Magnolia Blossom & WCB selection when I go to the flagship today. I'm trying to see if I want to add some more florals to my spring lineup. If I don't buy any Signature Collection stuff today, I'll at least be plotting my Semi-Annual Sale wishlist.

I love Violet Bouquet!! I have one lone body cream left in that scent and use it sparingly. I also bought a VB EDT on eBay about a month ago, for a really good price. Such a nice scent!

Whenever someone says Puke Melon, it makes me laugh so hard!

I went in today & noticed there wasn't much of a selection of Magnolia Blossom & WCB at all. In fact, one lady asked if BBW would sell her the lotion tester since they didn't have any more in stock. I might want a Magnolia Blossom EDT, but I'm still debating. I know I want a Magnolia Blossom bubble bath & hope a box will show up at one of the stores I frequent during the Semi-Annual Sale.

Also, is anyone concerned about the dwindling options in the regular Temptations line? It seems that Pecan Passion & CBH are getting cut. This concerns me, as I fear Frozen Daiquiri & Banana Smoothie might not be too far behind.

I really hate to see so many of these go. I like Tropical Passionfruit a lot in anti-bac. As for Pink Grapefruit....it's become my staple anti-bac gel. 1st they ax my Juniper Breeze anti-bac gel, and now this!

I liked Magnolia Blossom. I find it so sad that they didn't give these scents a chance to become established. I know lots of you don't like "Puke Melon" (I still do )

I really am sad they are going to ax these. I don't like the "sophisticated" way BBW seems to be going....(ie Velvet Tubersose).

The only new scent I've really liked this year in Signature Collection is Sparkling Peach.

Megan, I too am concerend about the dwindling Temptations options. I always thought Orange Freeze, Melon Cooler, Alluring Apple, Perfect Peach, and Iced Tea Twist were supposed to be around for a while.

I love this line so I really hope it stays around.

if you're wanting a WCB, Gardenia, Exotic coconut, Magnolia Blossom, or Pink Grapefruit product at really good prices, i am serious, ya'll should get them from an outlet. the EDTs and body lines were $5 each when i went to my outlet last week. i hate to see each of them go too, particularly the Tropical Passionfruit (which they are out of EDTs for those unfortunatly, but they have the body line in it) and the Pink Grapefruit.

i went to the Lebanon, TN outlet.

It looks like my concerns about dwindling Temptations options may be justified. Someone on MUA posted that Frosting Forever, Frozen Daiquiri, & Banana Smoothie were B1G1F.

I hope they're not getting rid of Temptations completely. I like having them around as a seasonal line.

ill have to agree too, i like the temptations
line as well, i think after waiting a couple
of years after the online poll on bbw that was done,(never got the results form that one)
i think it was a smart move on bbw part.
those fancy velvet tuberose, etc, i dont care
for either.

The Temptations line is my favorite and I would hate to see it go. I'm always looking forward to the new scents, LOVE the 3n1s (especially the minis since they're so good for travel).

But yeah, the shelf space for the Temptations is so small (except for the holiday temptations table) - even in the flagship, it's just one tiny part of the wall space.

I never get excited over the signature collection scents - the fancy stuff like like Velvet Turborose doesn't interest me at all. Temptations kept me interested in BBW after Tutti Dolci was discontinued...

Same here...especially with TP. I'm not happy at all to hear that it will be gone soon.

Thanks for the info everyone as it's helpful to at least know in advance. TP will now go on my wishlist for Christmas, and I'll plan to stock up on it during the SAS. I realize this may be a stupid question, but does this mean that the scents listed on the chart in the holiday catalog will be the only Signature Collection scents left? If so, they seem to be cutting out a lot very quickly...They must be planning to add a lot to the Signature line in January and throughout the new year.

Also, all the current Temptations are being discontinued? I hadn't heard that yet and will be very sad if that's true. I love BS and FF. They weren't B1G1F at my BBW the last time I was there, (only 3 days ago) but I'll be sure to check again this Sat.

WCB, EC & MB are being discontinued? I didn't care much for MB but I liked WCB as compared to JCB. I can take or leave the EC; I prefer creamy coconut...I'm going to stock up on it at the next SAS....that is, if that hasn't been discontinued.

I read on MUA that Mango Mandarin might be getting discontinued. It appears that it's been cut from some test stores.

Le Couvent, Breathe, Savannah Bee, & Aquatanica are all supposedly going too. That makes sense; all those lines take up too much shelf space that could've been better used for Temptations. I'll miss LC Honey & Shea, but that's the only thing I'll miss from those extraneous brands.

I am not too broken up about the scents that are being discontinued. I'm sure we'll find lots of it during the SAS.

To the best of my knowledge, yes, those are being discontinued. We don't have any WCB product at all in the store and only have some of the line of EC products. Magnolia Blossom, for some reason, seems to be making something of a comeback in dribs and drabs. We got in a case of bubble bath last week and a case of lotion today to go with the eleventy billion EDTs we already had.

I will be highly displeased if they discontinue Mango Mandarin. I've just decided that I love it and have been using coupons to load up on it little by little. I know we don't have the backstock in it that we do in other scents, but I really don't want this to go!

Speaking of backstock, I'm really wondering what kind of upcoming sale would prompt the distributor or whoever to send us--seriously--23 cases of Japanese Cherry Blossom body cream today. That was in addition to the 7 or 8 we already had in the back room. Sigh.
