When does the June 2008 SAS start and how long does it last? Thx!

I was wondering about this too! Getting kinda excited...

the sas usually starts at the end of june/july
i think it was earlier last year.
and it begins on a Monday.
it goes for almost a month, sometimes certain stores have kept some clearance tables from the sale a little longer.my flagship did this
last year.
there are specials during the duration of the sale and open up early, 9am.
lets hope its a good sale this year1

I'm excited for this too! I always thought it was funny when people came in for the BBW SAS with the mailer (the red and yellow one with the duck just announcing the sales) and tried using it as a coupon so they could get more money off their purchases!

Wow, I can't believe it's almost time for the SAS again. I don't think I went on the first day the last time.
I am thinking about going this time though.

I was looking @ the coupon I got last time when I went to BBW & it expires on 6/1. So it looks like 6/2 might be the Semi-Annual Sale start date. I'm not looking as forward to it as I have past sales, but that's subject to change. Right now, I'm looking forward to the VS Semi-Annual Sale a little bit more.

Just received a flyer when I went shopping. Sale starts June 2 with $3 shower gels, $5 wallflowers, and June 5-15 anti bac is 5 for $15, or 7 for $20.

I am definitely going to stock up on some Wallflowers. Does anyone know if BBW makes any kind of car air fresheners? I know they did at one time years ago, but I haven't been in such a long time. I don't think I've bought anything from BBW for over three months!

Meg, VS's sale (at least the instore one) begins 2 wks. after BBW usually. But the online sale tends to start earlier than that.

There really isn't anything on my wishlist other than 1-2 Banana Smoothie 3-in-1s if they go on sale unless I come across something that I hadn't thought about.

MissV, you are correct about BBW having the car air fresheners years ago. As far as I know, they have never brought those back permanently, but if you are lucky there might be a couple pop up at the SAS. However, since it has been so long, it is very rare to see even at the SAS, but sometimes you never know!

I feel like the only car air fresheners that are sold nowadays are from Yankee, but I could be wrong.

The concentrated room sprays work well as car air fresheners, just use two sprays as you get out of your car. I did hear something about a scentportable for cars, closets, etc. That should be out in the next few months (maybe even during Sale.)

Also, you can use the HF oils on a cotton ball on your seat, or buy the unscented car air freshener from the body shop and use with the B&BW oils.

What is everyone hoping to find at the BBW/VS SAS this time? Just curious!


I'm hoping to stock up on Sugar Candy items (Does anyone know if there is a good/bad chance of them having this? I'm not sure how old it is), and try out some discontinued scents that are raved about on here! Thanks to Fryl, I was able to try Passionate Kisses before the sale!

Meg, at the last SAS I saw a few Sugar Candy products, but it was way less than the SAS before, but there still might be a chance that they'll turn up. If I see any, I'll pick some up for you.

As for what I'm looking for at BBW:
LCdM H&S cleansing milk and face creme.
Anything in Orange Freeze especially the 3-in-1.

I can't really think of anything I'd like to get my hands on at VS but I'm sure I'll end up with tons.

I didn't see that many Sugar Candy products @ the Semi-Annual Sale last time. I think I saw maybe one lotion & a couple of mists.

Does anybody know what forms of the Classics they will bring back? Will it just be the lotions or will there be splashes as well?

I got my sale flyer this weekend. I'm excited to see that the body washes are also for $3 in the 1st 3 days. I like those a little bit better than the shower gels.
