I figured i would go ahead a start a Bath and Body Works thread, my fave store

Normally one of my favorite stores too...but tonight was odd. I am utterly dissappointed. I went in to see if they had the new scrubs and the new mask. Well, they did. Since I already have the tomato scrub, I decided to pick up the neen mask. As I was checking out, I kindly asked the 2 sales girls if I could get a sample of the lemongrass scrub to try. My god, they looked at me liked I asked them to give me a whole tube for free. They looked at each other in shock and said no, they couldn't do that. I could come over to the sink and try it but they couldn't give me a sample to take home.

Thought the whole atmosphere and situation was kinda odd. I mean, I just wanted a little to try with my skincare routine to see if I liked it. Is this normal policy?

Wow! I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I haven't ever had anything but nice sales people to help me. Don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch. Did you call to complain? I know when I get horrible treatment I certainly at least call the manager of the store. Not BBW, I have had bad sales people at grocery stores, etc. My thinking is, if you let them get away with the way they treated you they'll continue and it may be you again next time.
