Dunno what the big deal about COB is.
JR Watkins sells lemon body lotion and cream at almost any grocery store for $8.99. And it's 97% natural. Nearly $34 for COB Lemon EDP is a ridiculous price. IMO COB products are way over priced and hyped. |

Has anybody seen any of the new White Citrus in stores yet? They have the little trial size lotion online, but I am *dying* for a sniff of it!

Thanks for posting this info, Gizmo!!! I think the C.O. Bigelow line is one of the very few exciting things BBW has left. The prices on some of the Bigelow products are actually very reasonable IMO, especially with the coupons or specials they run. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

Your welcome Fryl!
I have to agree with you about COB, BBW hasnt come out with anything else good. And with the coupons and sales, you can get decent deals. |

Made an attempt to go to BBW the other day....
but the floral stench filling the air from Butterfly Flowers eminating from the entry kept me away. Another nasty floral for sure. To compound the issue, someone got on the elevator reeking of Wild Honeysuckle. Why do I have this fear that White Citrus will really smell like Rich Citrus Cream? Avoided The Body Shop also as the place was filling the mall with something that smelled like a plastic doll's head! VS smelled like a funeral parlor also. What gives with all of these foul florals and sickening fruits? |

Oh God, I will be so disappointed (and nauseated) if that's the case! RCC was so beyond gross--it was the first and last fragrance I ever bought online without smelling it first. They made it sound like it was going to be wonderful (I was thinking kinda like Yankee Candle Vanilla Lime) and it smelled like rotten yogurt. WC at least isn't trying to include vanilla, so maybe there's hope. |

LOL that comment about a "plastic doll's head" made me laugh so hard.
White Citrus is the first thing that's made my ears go up from Bath & Body Works for the last two years (except maybe Hello Sugar!) I feel like Velvet Tuberose came out and since then it's been nothing but a barrage of florals, amber-musks and how many more spin-offs of the cherry blossom thing can they make? The lady at the store near me told me they'll have the little samples of White Citrus lotion available for sale tomorrow. I can't wait to smell it and have high hopes since the description on their site didn't mention any vanilla or freakin amber musk in this one. I hope it's just really a fresh citrus smell. I never got to smell Limelight when it was available but I love Cool Citrus Basil. It's about time they came out with something fruity and fresh and new! |

i agree Lemonz, if you have noticed, bbw, if recycling older scents, instead of bringing them back, they are making similar new scents and giving them a new name, example, dancing waters could be the old fresh waterfall mist
from 2001-2002.if the new citrus is like the old limelight or very fruity ill stock up. formerly known as souffle lady, hey i still am, lol |

Well guys, I guess we will all have to boogie down to BBW tomorrow and check out White Citrus for ourselves.
I don't remember Limelight myself, but if White Citrus is as nice as Optimism, might treat myself to a mini or two. Yuckers, I remember the 'waters'..there were THREE of them... Cystal Blue Waters, Fresh Waterfall Mist and Sparkling Mountain Springs. All various shades of blue which reminded me of TIDY BOWL. Totally nasty as a matter of fact. I recall putting them in a large box and sending them to BBW Manager from the old board. To this day I cringe when I see Dancing Waters. as I suspect it is one of the tidy bowls reincarnated. Velvet Tuberose and Blushing Cherry Blossom are the current gross scents...dead flowers and Windex. Cucumber Melon is the all time example of a fragrance gone wrong. Butterfly Flowers gets dishonorable mention as the 'nana' scent of the new recession. VS also has some real losers with their PINK 'terrible three' which all smell like laundry detergent. The lotion is even packaged like a container of Wisk or whatever. VS newest offerings are also nothing to write home about. Very Sexy Now has no smell, the newest 'Angel' is blah. And VS new quasi aromatherapy stuff is recycled BBW product. Perhaps they were thinking aromatherapy THONG when they came out with these newbies. It will be interesting to see what White Citrus smells like. BBW has to have ONE decent frangrance for spring. |

I'm excited to smell White Citrus. If it's remotely lime, I'm in! I have been loving Lime and Lemon scented products lately. *********************************************** Scent your world at http://www.theperfectscents.com Say Hello Tomorrow with Avon at http://dperine.avonrepresentative.com |

I stopped at BBW today, the White Citrus minis are on backorder at my store. They wont be available until Wed., so i couldnt smell that today. They did go in the back and let me smell the new COB items. I love them both
I am just happy that BBW is finally coming out with some good things, that I really like. I am definitely stopping back this week and buying some goodies. |

The COB Lemon Lime Souffle and Body Tonic Spray are 2/$20 on BBW website!
Since it is mix and watch, the COB Lemon and Pomegranate souffle, body wash and scrub are included in the 2/$20 deal. Alas, there is no Lemon Lime lotion. Only a bath caddy with hand soap/lotion for $25 which is not on sale. EDP is available in Lemon only and is $34 which is rather expensive. |

White Citrus is something reminiscent of prescriptives Calyx, IMO.
It's nice. |

The new COB Lemon and Lime products ARE 2/$20 at my BBW, so I picked up the souffle and the body tonic spray.
I LOVE THEM Also got 3 White Citrus mini lotions @ $1.00 each. The other new COB Lemon Pom stuff was also 2/$20 but not a fan of pomegranate. Good deal though using store return coupons. White Citrus is a winner also. Am really liking WC and can't wait until they launch the rest of the line. It is similar to Px Calyx but not as sharp smelling...more lemon and lime and LESS perfume. I am sure you will all be pleased with both WC and the Lemon Lime souffle. |

oh my i want to go smell white citrus right now!!! (Ha HA hahaha - still laughing at plastic dolls head reference) Yeah i smell what you are talking about. - OH i got to try the Nectarin Mint, and oh im a big fan already. It reminds me of the Orbit melon gum. What ever the one is in the pink and orange package. Melon something. But that is it. A bubble-gummy melon smell, maybe a hint of a hint of a HINT of mint... I happen to love that smell- but some may not - hence the puke melon reference i keep coming across. haha. Well, its only in some anti-bac small lotion and anti-bac wash right now. No lotion yet.

Ooh, thanks for that, Jeff. I'd heard a couple of people recommend Calyx for those of us who like citrus fragrances but I never seem to remember to go take a sniff when I'm somewhere that actually carries Prescriptives. I might make an effort to remember now! Went back to the store that had the 1 open mini WC yesterday and bought 3, making sure to rave and rave about it to whoever'd listen (stupid BBW now has me paranoid that as soon as I decide I love a fragrance, it'll disappear forever, to be buried under an avalanche of funereal florals |

Blueline,
Save your money...Calyx reeks and will give you a migraine in a matter of minutes. Prescriptives is made by Estee Lauder...need I say more? Sure it's a citrus type fragrance along the lines of Clinique Aromatics Elixir, another Lauder nightmare. Calyx or Aromatics Elixir will clear an elevator out faster than a pipe bomb. I've worked for all of the Lauder companies, except MAC over the years and all their fragrances are nasty. Lauder fragrances are geared for people who have lost all sense of smell. Calyx = 80s Soccer mom fave. Smells like rotten grapefruit and wet wool mittens. Ditto with Origins Spring Fever, another Lauder reeker. Clinique Happy smells like wet citrus cardboard. |

So....tell me how you really feel about it. Thanks for the descriptions! I lol'd. BTW, loving WC more and more and more as the morning wears on. I am definitely smelling the resemblance to Limelight on the drydown; when I first put it on, I couldn't see it at all, but now that I've had it on for an hour or so, the similarity is definitely there. |
