I couldnt find any discussions for new BBW items, so I am starting a new one.

They are coming out with a new Signature Collection item in March, its called Butterfly Flowers. It doesnt sound like a scent I would care for, but I thought some may. The SA told me she doesnt know anything about it, other than the name.

As much as I also really like the name, I don't think I'm going to like the scent either. I guess most of us here aren't very into floral scents.

I can understand a new floral release for spring, but I honestly think they've put way too much emphasis on florals this year and last. I realize those are the big sellers, but I feel like they should at least put one or two fruity scents out soon to balance out all the florals that came out since VT.

I think the last fruit or fruit/floral release to the Sig Collection was IA. I don't even remember when that was either...early last year? I hope that changes soon and maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised and enjoy this new one. I have a feeling the packaging for this scent will be just as pretty as its name.

Butterfly Flowers may be interesting. I don't mind florals, as long as they're not too strong.

I went to BBW today & noticed some old stuff being relaunched. Blushing Cherry Blossom is back, but I think it's LE. They only had it in lotion, body cream, shower gel, mist, & EDT. Also there was a table of Ile De Tahiti stuff out. So I guess those rumors were true.

BBW does need to introduce more new stuff.

The Ile Tahiti stuff smells suspicious like the former VS Island Infusion line, esp Tahitian Vanilla Flower.

What's up with Blushing Cherry Blossom? Ick, it smells like WINDEX.

I agree...they really do need new stuff, I'd like to see some fruity scents. I love florals enchanted orchid is my fav...but I like to rotate so I don't get bored. Mid pomagrante is ok and I don't like the Black Rasp Van.

Anyone have any suggestions on fruit scents? I am young but no spring chick and don't want to smell like I'm in jr high.

Speaking of new stuff from BBW... This was from a post on MUA so I don't know how true it is, but supposedly there are/were some new scents being tested at flagship stores.

Tunisian Neroli
Vanilla Woods
Pear Vanilla Caramel
Tahitian Palm
Wildflower Tea
Mimosa Orchid
Indian Vetyver
Chai Anise

Has anyone seen anything about these scents at a flagship or any other store?

I'm curious to know if these ever were out or if they're coming out to test. I do have a flagship, but I haven't been there in a while because it's 30-40 mins away from me. If there really are that many scents they're testing it might be worth the trip though. I've never heard of any of those, so I do have my doubts about this but some sound very good.

butterlfy flowers sounds like a old scent from years ago, but im hoping its not too floral, and maybe theres some sweet or clean notes in there that make it worth the while.

I just checked ebay and all of these fragrances are available in EDT form from one seller. They are selling at $39.95 each (buy it now price). After googling the scents,I finally called BBW Customer Service! The rep. said that she hasn't heard of any of these scents and when I mentioned that I was looking at the EDTs in new packaging online, she took down the names and talked to her supervisor. That person also had not heard of any of these scents and said they would look into it! There's the update. Has anyone else found these new scents anywhere? Would love to know how true/bogus these are!

A lot of times new BBW and VS items show up on eBay before the stores have knowledge of them.

The eBay pics look real...

I agree! I am just looking at all the pics online and there are 10 new fragrances (Lush Fig Nectar is another one) that I can't wait to get a sniff of!! I asked my managers at BBW and even they don't know diddly squat about these.

Problem solved! These were fragrances that were launched to 30 select test stores in the US last May. I happened to come across a blog written by someone who tried a fragrance called Java Bloom that was also launched with this series. All of them came only in EDT form (new signature packaging) and all of them have been discontinued as of now. I wrote to the person from the blog and she told me that she got it from Oak Court Mall, Memphis, TN. I called the store and got all this information from them. I also ordered 1 Java BLoom EDT because the blogger raved about how great it was. It only cost me $6.12 + shipping...so even if I don't like it, at least it's not a huge dent in my pocket. I have way TOO Much time on my hands - time to get back to life! Happy Weekend everyone.

When I went to BBW this weekend, they were giving spring preview books for free w/ $30 purchase. Actually, it's really not that much of a spring preview book. It's just showing the new Signature Collection packaging, but there is a photo of Butterfly Flower, due on 3/16. The EDT is peachy looking & has a photo of a butterfly wing etched on the back glass. I'll try to scan it when I have some more time.

Also, it seems that Aromatherapy is starting to make body mists. They're not made of glass bottles, but the plastic for them is pretty sturdy. The scent selection for this product right now is Bright Blossoms & Black Currant Vanilla.

They have Butterfly Flowers body lotion, preview size for $1.00 online now. If anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like, its the first item on the page.

I can't say I really like how the lotion looks. There's something about that packaging that reminds me of Wild Honeysuckle too much.

Has anyone smelled this lotion yet?

The packaging is sort of blah. Hope it's not another floral.

Thanks for posting the link to the new scent, Gizmo. I had high hopes for the packaging. I was certain it was going to be gorgeous, but I guess I was wrong. It would have been nice if a butterfly design had been on the packaging. Oh well.

Also, I have come to the conclusion that I really don't like the new packaging.

Jeff, I smelled the body lotion last night. I didnt like it at all, it is a very strong floral to me.

Butterfly Flowers is def. a floral scent you'll have to be into that to like this one. Its smells like wild honeysuckle at first then you can def smell lilacs. I think it's a pretty spring scent..I love florals!!
