New garden fragrance!! I really like it.. it's Apple, Raspberry, and Vanilla. I've only seen it in the body butter form, and the packaging for it was a pinkish, orangey red.
It reminds me of an older scent.. I can't pinpoint which one, though. |

About time VS brought out a new Secret Garden scent. I'm hoping this one will make up for all the disappointments I've had from them this year.
By "older scent", do you think it reminds you of something currently in the line or something discontinued? |

hmm... definitely not something in the current lineup. My manager mentioned maybe Secret Crush (no way!), but we still couldn't figure it out. I definitely smell the apple, and if I thought about it really hard, it reminded me of Country Apple. At first smell, it did smell like a white floral.. kinda exotic, I guess from the Raspberry. Maybe it's the color that reminds me of it, but I keep thinking about a Sweet Talk splash that I once smelled.

Thanks for the info. If it smells like Secret Crush or Sweet Talk, I think I'll be all over it.
 I hope the apple notes decide to remain hidden for me. |

 It sounds like a really nice combination of notes. I am really happy there's a new Garden fragrance, but I just can't get too excited because I know it'll come in the to me awful new packaging.  I can't wait to smell it though.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

Thanks for the info, Amanda! Apple, Raspberry, Vanilla, with a floral hint definitely sounds like a new scent I'd be interested in. Can't wait to smell this whenever it comes out. |

I haven't seen a release date for this fragrance yet, but I would guess somewhere around the 4th of March. I want to get the splash for this one.. sooo good! So far, all of my coworkers that have smelled it have really liked it.

I'm excited for a new Garden scent in general, but after hearing that so many people liked it I really can't wait. I think this one will be the opposite of BBW EO for me -- EO's scent is just OK for me, but I love the packaging. With this one, I'll probably love the scent but not be too happy with the packaging. At least the scent is what matters most, and this one sounds like it should be worth the wait until some time in March. |

VS had Sweet Daydream out for purchase today.
Just the splash, small EDT, lotion and scrub. It smells 'familiar' but rather nice. I asked the manager about the VSB closing on the 5th floor. She told me a lot of VBS stores in the area are closing and they are consolidating beauty and lingerie in one location. Guess we can blame store closings on the 'economy'.  |

on sunday i peeked in vs for a moment, literally, but didnt see the new one, but did
smell the juiced berry and new candy one. i have to say i like the juiced berry, the new candy one smells like cigars. 3for 25 deal for the new beauty rush isnt bad. |

Thanks for the info, Jeff. I'll be on the lookout for Sweet Daydream next time I go to VS then. I'm glad to hear another positive review on it. That's interestiong about the VS beauty closing...There's a VS Beauty in one (maybe 2 but I'm drawing a blank right now) of the malls near me and it doesn't appear to be closing. I haven't heard anything about them closing either yet, but I might ask around the next time I go.

Well, that's disappointing news since I'd rather have VSB too, but thanks for letting us know Amanda. The VSB in one of the malls I was talking about here is attached to a large regular VS store (in the same way that WBCC is attached to some larger BBW stores) so I doubt that will be closed as it has plenty of room for Pink and all the other lines too. I'm not sure I explained that very well, but I would imagine/hope they would leave the ones that are all interconnected alone. |

Oopsies, guess I linked it wrong.
 I read on MUA last night where someone said it smelled like Irresistible Apple. That could be interesting. I think Irresistible Apple is OK since it doesn't smell like apple at all to me, but I could be much more tempted to buy it if it's in the pretty Secret Garden packaging. |

I smelled this today. It is a very light fruity scent, more on the apple side.
Now that you've brought it up, Megan, it does smell like IA. I really do like it, but probably won't buy any, since it's not really a unique scent. But it's a scent that definitely belongs in the Garden Collection line, in my opinion.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

I detected an apple note in Sweet Daydream, so I ended up not really liking it.
 It was nice in the mist form, but all the mists were kinda beat up looking, so I ended up passing on it.I'm beginning to suspect there's something wrong w/ my nose. I haven't liked any of the 4 new fragrances VS has released this yr. so far. |
