Have any of you guys tried the CVS Essence of Beauty body butters or lotions?

Just curious as they are always on sale @ CVS and some of the scents sound similar to BBW.

Of course I would LOVE to try the Dollar Store body mango body butter and almond lotion....but alas Family Dollah has closed here. And these items are rare collectables here.

lol, Rotflol

i have smelled these before, not bad, the lemon
the ocean/sea ones are pretty good.
not bad for cvs,i see that thet store is trying to find a niche in the beauty aisle, skin care, body wash, makeup, etc, they even have a person sporting a white jacket hanging about.sometimes a little bin of freebies are available to take home.

I work at CVS and the EOB body care is OK. I just get sick of the same "Sunblossom" fragrance coming out every Summer. It is so LOUD and, of course, every old woman in town has to wallow in that particular lotion tester. Nono

Nugnugsmom,

Rotflol

Guess that's the scent I will have to check out.
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.

I did and it is totally nasty. Reminds me of that horrid Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers 'spa' scent from the 90s! Blecch.

Since you work at CVS, do you have any feedback on the Black Rice skin care products?

Jeff, to be totally honest, I haven't checked out the Black Rice stuff. Corporate was printing out coupons there for a short bit trying to "entice" customers to try one of the products. I think the packaging just looks boring so it hasn't struck up an interest for me. However, the Lumene products were/are still a big seller at my store. Although the makeup line is gone, the most popular skin care items are still selling really well.

I have been very happy with the Black Rice face scrub, SPF cream and night time lotion. Much easier on the face than the apricot scrub. Have been using the scrub twice a week and have noticed an improvement.

On a more evil note, I bought a Sunblossoms candle, body mist and body butter because I had a CVS gift card to use up. Went to a cookout last night and a few people said it smelled good. They were all college age. Maybe I got ahold of an old tester when I initially tried it. Go figure.

My late mom loved Sunflowers, so the candle was lit in her memory.

I have the lemon scent from CVS, in the body lotion, its not bad at all. Light and springy smelling to me. (B&BW needs to take note.....its NOT a floral and still smells of springtime!)
