Went back to check the 'sale' yesterday and shelves were very bare.

Very disappointing. Not even any 'Caca Cabana' in sight.

Ditto for The Body Shop! Zip.

Crabtree is having some kind of sale also.

Nothing there either. And I do not care for their products.

Not holding my breath for VS Sale either.

Oh well, my Avon rep is happy

I did talk to a district manager that was at a store and she said the foam bursts,pure simplicity,bigelow, body essence splash were all boxed up and sent back or MOS's. Of course all the stuff I was looking for! Also we have an outlet so they said a lot of left overs are now sent to there!!!
Really makes the sales less enticing now.

I had large hopes for this sale.. Now I am just ! First of all there really is not much of a sale. If you have noticed they have their sale buckets out but they ALOT of "STUFFING" in them rather than product . The only thing I have seen a TON of are the wallflowers.. and the Antibac soaps.. AGAIN not a big sale...
I have called about 12 stores looking for Ex. Coconut Cream or Lotion and I of course have been told it has been DISCONTINUED...DUH!
Oh well, I guess the bright side is I ma saving $$$$$ $$$$$

I cant believe you found Peach Nectar shower gels. At least your BBW finally had something worth buying.

I stopped at BBW outlet today. They had absolutely nothing I wanted. I noticed a ton of Seaspray body lotions and Strawberry Lemonade body splashes. I think some of you were looking for these scents. Let me know if anyone needs the phone number. The only thing I bought was a ceramic Gingerebread house HFO burner. It came in a box with 2 tealights, Gingerbread HFO, and a Twisted Peppermint HFO. It was only $2.99 They had alot of them too. At least 3 shelves full. I bought a few for gifts at Christmas, I couldnt pass those up.

Due to all the disappointing news, I haven't rushed out to the stores as usual but did have time to pop into a couple this weekend. I didn't find too much stuff but this is my haul:

Kathi, I wish I had checked the board before I left, I did see some exotic coconut items but I can't remember which stores or what they had. They may have been the 4oz sizes but I'll keep my eye out for some large lotions/creams. Are you looking for EDT too? If I get a chance to go back this week, I'll try to remember which store they are at or I can pick them up for you if you like. Just let me know!

I think BBW may just not be carrying the American Girl line anymore, but the products are still available at the American Girl stores and on the American Girl website so I don't think the brand itself is being discontinued? My neice loves the line too and we pick up the bath products at the American Girl stores. I have picked up some at 50% of though during the sale

I went to my BBW today, they really don't have anything interesting in that store.
I went to exchange a box of Creamy Nutmeg wallflower refills. I wanted to get Kitchen Spice instead but they didn't have any so I got Pink Grapefruit instead.

I wish I would have bought more of the HFO burner sets. Thats been my only great deal and find.

I stopped in for a quick glance and everything was so picked over. I didn't buy ANYTHING which is so unlike me. I think the SAS is over for me.

I went to another nearby BBW today; they had much except to my surprise & glee, they did have plenty of Fresh Vanilla lotions in trial size and 4.0z. I bought 2 4 0z. since I bought the trial sizes last BBW sale. I'm also waiting for the signature collection lotions & body creams to go on sale. I also picked up Echanted Orchid & Country Apple anti bac soaps. since I've become a fan of both scents. I already soap in stock so I didn't take advantage of the 5 for $15. I paid regular price. My haul today was $13....not bad.

I went by two BBWs today. Grrr. Had to go by two b/c the first one didn't have the Pop Culture stuff on sale. (Yet it was on sale at the store that is literally a 10 minute drive away... Sometimes I wish sales were a bit more consistent.) I bought the Melon Cooler souffle and splash... I've really changed my mind about this scent. I tried it on me and it just smelled so much better than it did from the jar!

I saw some okay stuff at one of the stores I went to... TONS of Fresh Vanilla (shower gels, body creams, and splashes, I believe), tons of Peach Nectar lotion too. There were also Aromatherapy Ylang Rose and Sandalwood Rose splashes/sprays (whatever they are called).

EDIT: There were also some Winter Candy Apple splashes, the only holiday products I've seen.

I went to my local BBW yesterday and found a few goodies.

They had a bunch of Chocolate Amber body creams, Pink Grapefruit splashes and Fresh Pineapple EDT's and splashes. I stocked up on those. All were 75% off.

I grabbed a few Pineapple Orchid and Fresh Lemonade Wallflowers and Scentports along with other scents. I also found one Winter HFO at 75% off. Then I dug around and found Strawberry and Sugared Passionfruit HFO's at $3 each. They had HFO brass burners so I got one at 75% off.

Pop Culture stuff was 50% off so I picked up a Cosmo Berry lotion and lipgloss.

Couldn't resist the blue and pink ducks at $1 each. Got a bath pillow at 50% off too.

At checkout I grabbed one Rainkissed Leaves mini lotion ($1) and a Fruit Punch gloss ($5).

Everything fit into my extra 15% off shopping bag so that gave me extra bucks off.


I chatted with the SA's there and one told me that their backroom was empty. Tons of product had already been sold out in the first days of the SAS. They didn't even have any glycerin soaps left.

A few buckets on display were empty. They had nothing to fill them.

I stopped by the flagship today. All I got was a tube of Kneipp Arnica cream for 50% off & a Dancing Waters foaming antibac.
