I've been getting into HFOs lately. I've been doing some experimentation. For instance, the oils I got from TBS can be easily mixed with water (fill holder half way, add 5-10 drops of oil) and they give off a very nice soft fragrance. Sometimes the scents can be overpowering on their own. However, BBW oils didn't fair as well. When I tried that with my BSF oil, I didn't smell anything!

However, I am burning Fresh Vanilla right now (by itself) and I AM LOVING IT! I must get more! I'm not a Vanilla person but I do like Fresh Vanilla everything and the oil doesn't disappoint.

I'm thinking of buying some HB oils. So what do you all think of them and what would you recommend? I noticed a lot of you like Firewood. I did smell the candle and it is a nice and different scent.

Quince, hands down! I had it burning last night, and even my husband commented on how great it smelled in here, several times in fact, and it's a rarity for him to ever say anything about what I have burning.

I haven't tried any of the other HB oils I bought yet.

Thanks, TDJ! That was one I had on my list. I also have Firewood, Fig, and Lemon Verbena. I've based this mostly on the candles. Anyone try these yet? Did I forget a a really good one?

Vanilla Bean. I haven't burned it yet, but smelling it in the store, it seems like a very strong vanilla with a lot of kick to it. I also bought a Pomegranate oil based on the candle... it's pretty tart, not sure if everyone would like it or not.

I'm burning Vanilla Bean oil right now... highly recommended!! It's much softer burning than it is just smelling it on the tester. It's a "sexy" vanilla, really nice!

UMMM..sounds yummy! I'll definitely put it on the most wanted list! By the way, that list just seems to get bigger and bigger!!
