I saw a fall preview book today & took some mental notes. Unfortunately, since I don't have the book, photos aren't available at this time. Frowner

Sept. 4:
PS I Love You
The Perfect Autumn home fragrance & bodycare (see "The Perfect Autumn 2009" thread for more details)
Fall antibacs: Fresh Balsam, Leaves, Spiced Cider, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
Aromatherapy Lemongrass Cardamom (green relaxation line)

Oct. 12:
The Perfect Holiday bodycare: VBN, WCA, Festive Vanilla Fig, Yuletide Pear Vanilla
Aromatherapy Warm Milk & Honey returns

Nov. 2:
More holiday stuff (The photo showed a figural candle of a white/silver reindeer wearing a green scarf.)

I'm interested in Harvest Berry bodycare & might want to check out Festive Vanilla Fig. Funnily enough, FVF reminds me of when I first joined this board back in 2005. winking Everyone thought Vanilla Fig would be a fall Signature Collection scent, but ultimately turned out to be Fresh Vanilla & Brown Sugar & Fig. Oh well, I guess they got around to the Vanilla Fig idea after all. rofl

Those fragrances sound pretty fun -- it's weird to think about all these warm-sounding fragrances when it's near 100 outside.

I tried the PS I Love you and I'm pretty sure I don't like it. I can't wait to try the other stuff though -- and for this heat to break!

Thanks for the info, Megan!

The new fall and holiday scents all sound good to me.

Festive Vanilla Fig and Yuletide Pear Vanilla both sound like scents I would like, even if they're going a bit overboard with vanilla this year since they're keeping VBN as well. As someone who really likes vanilla based scents it doesn't bother me though.

I'm glad that the Perfect Autumn collection will be available in home fragrance and bodycare this year. IIRC, it was home fragrance only last year. I haven't checked out the scents yet, but Harvest Berry does sound interesting.

Do you know if they're giving out the preview book you saw now? I haven't been to BBW in about a month so I haven't seen anything new yet.

Marissa, I think the preview book was free w/ a $20-$25 purchase.

Thanks Megan!

Yeah, I forgot that they're usually free w/p all the time. Honestly, I don't even think I could spend $20-25 in there right now...There's just nothing that really interests me until this new stuff is released.

Just got back from my first stop into BBW since the SAS (which feels very weird to say!) and got to smell some of the new home fragrance items. Leaves seems to be more intense this year than last year, which is awesome because my Leaves Wallflowers last year had ZERO fragrance. Like none. Not even the first day they were plugged in. I was not pleased. But I'm sitting here with a ScentBug going with Leaves HFO in it and I am in LOVE. It smells exactly like a Christmas store at Disney World used to smell--you'd get this burst of fragrance when you opened the door and even if it was 95 degrees out, it suddenly felt like winter. Smiler I'll definitely be getting bodycare in this fragrance.

I'm curious to test out the Ginger Vanilla bodycare, since I like both ginger and vanilla; who knows how the combo will go, though. Not interested at all in Harvest Berry because, well, I hate berry scents, and I sniffed a PS I Love You candle and it struck me as very, very sweet. The SA there said that the lotion doesn't have much staying power at all; she said that the candle seems to be the best form of the scent.

Yay, I can't wait for fall!!!!

ilove....,

I went into the store today to see if twilight Woods was there. The manager had never heard of it. I pulled up the link on my blackberry to show her that I wasn't nuts and what the bottle looked like.

Seems that they don't keep all the managers in the loop very well.

Ihad to get out of there fast. They were burning PS I love you oil. Horrible, but I will say the shower gel is milder than the lotion.

Hmm...Twilight Woods sounds interesting. Might have to swing into a store this weekend to see if they've gotten any in.

I started a new post on Twilight Woods not realizing it was already mentioned here. (99% sure I successfully deleted it) Roll Eyes

Here is a link with more info on Twilight Woods. http://www.pwrnewmedia.com/200...s/twilightwoods.html
Yeah there is a lot of fluff language here, but it does also give the various notes in the fragrance. This one seems so promising. I am so afraid it's going to be just the next installation of Sensual Amber and the Musk-ettes.

I wonder if Twilight Woods was made to capitalize on the "Twilight" movie craze (the second movie is coming out this fall).

I had the rare opportunity to go to BBW today so I got to sniff a lot of stuff. My favorite new scents were Harvest Berry and Ginger Vanilla (?). I would definitely purchase something in this scent but didn't today since I didn't have my gift card with me. Frowner

Halloween stuff is out now @ BBW! witch The nightlight Wallflowers are basically the same as last year's (ghost & jack-o-lantern), but there's also a haunted house this yr. The decorative pumpkin antibacs are back out again. But this year, it's also available in the foaming formula in addition to the deep cleansing one.

Some of the holiday scents have been repackaged to fit w/ the rest of the Slatkin line. I wonder whether we'll see these in stores in Oct. or will have to wait till Nov.
Spice
Tree
Twisted Peppermint

I am not digging the packaging on the candles -- it looks very cheap and generic to me.

I really liked when twisted peppermint was part of the Temptations and the spice/tree/frosted cranberry was a more simple graphic.

I was reading MUA & a link to a holiday preview was posted. It doesn't have The Perfect Holiday bodycare or any home fragrance stuff, which I found slightly odd.

BBW Holiday 2009

Somehow I think the new Bigelow stuff is going to make my wallet hurt. wow
