The 'Insatiable' stuff was out at the VS 'lingerie' store here on Friday but not at the
'beauty'. The SA are always very good at 'getting stuff from the back' or selling new items. If it 'scans' then sell it to make segment.

No big secret though. There was a large table with all 3 fragrances in lotion, 3 and 1 and splash. The chocolate and key lime are definite 'must haves' because they smell great and are a good value...humungous bottles.

The display wasn't attracting much attention because customers were focusing on underwear.

I am still pi@@ed because no one ever 'attacks' me to get an Angel card.

Crimson Kiss splash? That's something I've only seen on Ebay. But it looks really pretty.

As far as the SAs being secretive about the Insatiable bodycare, I encountered some of that as well. I was only sold the 2 lotions that were available on the counter & the SA @ the register wouldn't go check the backroom for body washes or splashes. She said that normally she would, but her excuse was that it was a busy day. I could understand that w/ it being the sale & the mall being flooded w/ tourists, but they could've gotten another $50 out of me easily if they had sold me the body washes & splashes. Generally, I don't think VS likes customers to have too much advance info. Usually there's no real advance warning about VS beauty products, so if you ask about VS stuff in advance, you kinda get labeled as having "inside connections".

But overall, I think the VS sale has been a far more dangerous drug for me than the BBW sale. And I'm not done yet. I need to get more Insatiable bodycare. And I'm really looking forward to the Pink sleepwear collection for the fall! It all has a collegiate theme to it. There's at least 2 t-shirts & one cami that I still have to get.

I don't think they're trying to be secretive. The company wants you to know stuff and be excited about it. I think those associates are just dumb or don't care like we do.

Megan, the Crimson Kiss was a pretty bottle, but it just smelled weird and looked really old. The label looked faded. Usually my store has a nice variety of old scents, usually we have Turquoise Paradise, which reminds me of Seaspray.

I went into VS 30 min. before closing & decided to actually browse in the lipstick bins. I think in Mar. that I had posted that I wanted to try VS lipstick & that there was a particular shade that interested me. Well, I found it! It's a Smooth Talk lipstick in Tiara. It's a pink shade & looks nice on me.

On another note, the SA's were pulling some boxes out from the back & I heard "Watermelon Tease". I know what that means! I hope there's some Insatiable stuff out the next time I go into the store.

Awesome find on the Tiara lipstick! When I went to the mall Friday, I saw a tester of that color out and wanted to buy one, but they were already sold out. I did buy one earlier in the sale called Powder Puff, and it's nice.

It is funny that some of the SA's get a little attitude about you knowing about a product before they think you should.

In that case, VS knew that they had them, but didn't want to admit it for some reason.

I have had that happen at alot at BBWs, but either the SA's were new employees, or they wanted to know "how did I hear about it already"?

Anyway, I guess I can wait to try them in another week, or should I say my funds can wait.

TD Junkie, I did see another lipstick in Tiara. I'll check the next time I go into VS to see if it's still around.

I didn't start getting interested in the lipstick on clearance until Fri. Since then, I've checked 3 different stores & I'm starting to learn which ones are more common and which ones are rare. I saw a lipstick in Sweetheart & it kinda reminds me of the Clinique lipstick in Sweet Honey that I've been wearing forever. I guess I'll have to pack my Clinique lipstick in my purse so I can compare it to the VS one. I'm thinking that I need to buy something from VS again this wk. so that I might get an Insatiable bodycare coupon.

Awww, that's sweet of you Megan! Don't worry about it though, I think it would probably melt in transit. I will probably end up stopping in at a different VS this week, and they might have it.

I got 2 of the Sweet Cravings sets for $9.99 I also picked up 2 of the Deeper sets and 2 of the Yearn sets for $9.99/each!

I succumbed yet again to the siren call of the VS sale. I bought a large metallic "Pink" dog for $19.99, two Beauty Rush lipglosses (Honey Do and Pinked Lemonade) for $10, a little pillow for $5.99, a set of Sweet Craving sachets for $5.99, and a Yearn set (with lotion, shower gel, and massage oil) for $9.99. The Yearn stuff is gardenia-scented and really quite pleasant!

I also bought a terry cloth bag with some Spa products in it, but the zipper on the bag is broken so I have to return it.

I still haven't found any Sweet Craving gift sets. The SA said someone came in the other day and bought all they had (4).

I went to exchange my defective Spa set today and ended up leaving the store with my wallet $27 lighter.

I went back into VS tonight. The lipstick bin was a lot more picked over, so I wasn't tempted to buy any more lipstick. Additionally, the Slow Melt candle wasn't on sale, so my wallet was thankful for that. The Insatiable bodycare hasn't shown up yet & I didn't get a coupon.

I posted about this in the Fashion Forum, but there is a coupon going around for a free Pink panty. I would reccomend to those of you who happen to acquire a coupon to head over to VS immediately. The selection of free panties was not that much. All they had left in my size were thongs & v-strings.

I hit the VS sale 2 days ago and got...

1 - Tiara lipstick (I found one!)
1 - Pretty Baby lipstick (A little too dark for me once I got it home, but I can easily lighten it up)

I stopped into VS to take advantage of the free mini Pink Dog promotion (got a pair of sweats), and interestingly enough, they still had two tables of sale stuff out (makeup, Aura Science skincare, etc.). I believe that in the past they would "put away" the sale stuff when the new floorset started. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.

Same thing at BBW, they had a shelf display case with 50% off items. I saw some gift sets and some other things of little interest.

Interesting! It makes sense that they would try to get rid of their leftover stock. . . .
