Temperatures are soaring in these parts and we already know BBW is not going to come out with anything exciting for the fall. Except the usual recycled fragrances.

So...
any speculations on what BBW might offer for Holiday 08?

I am sure the 'terrible three' will be back...Vanilla Bean Noel, Winter Candy Apple and a mystery scent..either something cranberry or pomegranate.


VBN is sort of a staple item and I do like that one and stock up.

So BBW has 3 months to 'get it together' and either come out with something new and exciting...or recycle something old.

I've gotten to the point I don't get terribly excited anymore because the scents coming out are rather boring.

I agree, it is quite sad. I don't see why they can't come out with new and different scents. This is the main reason why I've shifted to buying VS products, the scents are much better! I used to work at BBW and swore by their products, but not anymore!

In the past few years, BBW has had some good stuff for holiday & I hope they keep up the good work. I really don't want to see VBN or WCA again, but I wouldn't mind seeing a cranberry scent again. It's not something I'd really stock up on, but it's not something they have in their normal line either.

I have a feeling that if Twisted Peppermint doesn't return, there will be lots of rioting customers.

I liked the cranberry scent myself. I hope they bring that back. I still have the cranberry body cream from xmas.

I wasn't a big fan of the cranberry scent but I do love VBN body lotion. I didn't fall in love with WCA until it was too late! I managed to get a body spray but that was all. So I wouldn't mind seeing it return as well. I absolutely love TP and hope it will make another appearance as well. I'm afraid though that it might sell out early so I hope they have a good supply!

I was lucky enough to see the floor set for the holiday products at my local store. There will be bath parfaits in WCA and VBN. There is also twisted peppermint body cream. The manager at this store told me that the twisted peppermint was coming out as a holiday signature instead of temptations. The packaging for the new black amethyst is very elegant.

Hmm bath parfaits? I'm curious!

im not to thrilled with the black amethyst, not a good scent.
i was hoping for a, hate to say it, "reincarnation" of the merry mistletoe, or
sugared shortbread,or something other than the usuals.
i do love the twisted peppermint, i liked it when they came out with companion treats to go along with the scents, that was good.

I am not liking the Black Amethyst scent either. So much so that I didn't even bother buying a mini lotion.
I think the EdT bottle is really chic though, and also noticed they'll have a purse out in October, and it'll only be $15, so I may purchase it.

I heard a rumor on MUA that the winter Signature Collection scent will be Vanilla Noir. This sounds like it may have potential to be interesting.

the sweet cinnamon pumpkin was out yesterday, my store didnt have a lot yet.

A few years back Coty had a fragrance called Dark Vanilla which was reminscent of vanilla and VS Rapture mixed together. Coty also had Dulce (Sweet) Vanilla which was really nice.

Hopefully BBW's offering will not follow suit and smell like Rapture.

The travel edition of Black Amethyst looks good,
but BBW should have put a different fragrance in the bottle.

I read on MUA that they are coming out with a new Mentha scent for the holidays. It will be Ginger Mentha.

I decided to take a look at the MUA post that Gizmo mentioned. It also said that there'll be Black Chamomile in Aromatherapy & Slatkin winter home fragrances will be out on 11/13.

Black Chamomile sounds somewhat intriguing. I'm curious as to hear what's in this.

I agree Black Chamomile does sound interesting. I can't imagine what's in it though, because 'black' doesn’t really give you any idea of the scent description.

I'm also interested to try Vanilla Noir. Hopefully that info came from a reliable source and the rumors are true.

I don't know if I would be interested in Ginger Mentha. I'm not usually into Ginger scents, and ginger and mint seems like a strange combo to me.

I believe the Signature Kids line is supposed to come out for the holidays too...at least that's what they have posted on the website.

I sampled the Shea line at BBW but it was a no buy.

Nice packaging but the scent is rather blah.

Am holding out for VBN and TP as THEY will be a real treat.

VBN around the holidays is like a visit from an old friend. Of course you all know WCA is available year round at VS as Endless Love and the new body butter is a good deal

I can't wait for Twisted Peppermint to be back. I just used up my last 3-in-1.

I'm with you Jeff and Fryl! I'm waiting for VBN and TP! Those are two of my all time favorite scents from BBW.

I've never actually tried VBN or TP, so I can't wait 'till they come out!! I guess it's 'cause I only recently got into BBW.
