Me,too. I am planning to go into the store today to see if they have it. We have two stores here in Murfreesboro, so maybe one of them has it.

Fruits are my favorite.

Same here! I've been stopping into various flagships for about the last month, asking if they've gotten the trial-size lotions (or whatever) in yet, but no dice. One SA kind of acted like I was crazy when I asked about it until I showed her the little card they've got by some of the displays listing all of the fragrances and their categories.

Last I heard, it was supposed to be out in May, but as we all know, those dates aren't usually firm (at least for the trial sizes). I might pop back in to my old store tonight and see if it's shown up.

OK...we got the trial size lotion in yesterday for the first time...and drumroll, please...

White Citrus smells like.....

LIMELIGHT!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited. The lotions will be a $1 on Monday, and the collection launches the TUESDAY after Mother's Day. (So no one has to do floorset on Mom's Day Smiler

If you can't wait, I'm sure your store could pull it out of the back. It is 2 oz for 3.50, but rings 3/$10.

Happy Shopping!

I just saw some Limelight body splashes on eBay, a batch of 10 for $90!
Eeker

From the design on the labels I would say they are circa the 'Kate' era When BBW had the striped awnings, barrels, and this mythical person Kate represented BBW sharing her bounties of the earth. LOL

Shades of Little House on the Prairie
Rotflol

The scent description in the BBW book for Limelight says ' An early BBW scent that smells like lime pudding.'

Let's ALL hope it doesn't smell like lime yogurt.

I suspect VS will reincarnate Tanya Harding to represent Pear Glace and Rapture. Free tatoo or 'the club' with any purchase.

Just kidding...

Wait..........WHAT?!!!!? OMG, I will have a stroke from joy if that's true! (not saying that you're lying or whatever, but everybody's noses are different, etc. etc. etc.) Oh holy cow. But if there's even the SLIGHTEST similarity as far as my nose is concerned, I will be a very very very very very happy girl! Mango Mango Mango <--definitely a multiple-dancing-mango situation! Crazy

I have no idea what lime pudding smells like, but to me, Limelight always smelled like a kind of earthy lime smell, like no plastic or artificial notes to it. There was a little bit of lemon and a teeny bit of sugar on the drydown, but not too much. It was more or less a "pure" citrus scent, and I absolutely adored it. It was out around late 1997 to early 1998; I distinctly remember wearing it constantly when I was dating a total moron during the summer of 1998, but I know I had the lotion at work during the early spring of 1998.

OMG, I so need to go to the gym right now, but all I want to do is make a beeline to the mall!! Rotflol

Oh, and not that I'll have a need for them if WC does smell like Limelight, but I just wanted to mention in case anybody else is interested in the splashes on ebay that my Limelight body splash smells identical to the day I bought it, more than 10 years ago. I don't know what they did with that formulation that's different from every other BBW splash I've ever smelled, but there's no alcohol-y note to them AT ALL. Conversely, I've bought WVS splashes new from the store and gotten them home and noticed that they smell basically like pure alcohol. And actually, one of my 2 Limelight splashes I bought in the store, so I know the conditions in which I stored it, but I found the other one at a garage sale a couple of years ago, so who knows what kind of care that person took with it? But so anyway, if anyone has a burning desire to know what the "original" Limelight smelled like, more than likely those splashes will give you a good idea.

OK, so after trips to 2 stores (one flagship, one non), I did get to smell it, at least, and it does smell quite reminiscent of Limelight! However, the fragrance that came even closer was Bigelow Lemon & Lime! It is the closest I've smelled to it...it's delicious! And the souffle is amazing--I absolutely LOVE the texture (like silk, and is absorbed very quickly) and the strength of the fragrance. I can't wait till the whole lines of both fragrances are released!!

I really wish I'd been able to buy the mini that I got to smell so I could give you all a better description (all I can smell on my hands now is the Bigelow L&L); the SA I spoke to was really apologetic, but she said they'd been "strongly advised" not to sell before the date they were supposed to. I was surprised, because that store is the one that's always come through for me in terms of releasing things early if you know to ask for them. Guess I'll have to swing by after work tomorrow night.

Thanks for the info, Blueline
Love

I checked the BBW website, and the COB Lemon and Lime Blossom line also comes in a shower caddy (body wash/lotion) as well as a body tonic spray.

A souffle? Wow, I am impressed.

White Citrus sounds like it will be a winner too.

*Someone* will be using their gift cards and store credits to get these items!

Woohoo

No problem! I haven't been this excited for a new fragrance in a while. And yes, the Lemon & Lime is available in a souffle, 8 oz. The description is as follows: "This revitalizing, light-as-air toning formula combines the skin-brightening benefits of lemon with a twist of skin-toning lime. This double-citrus preparation is formulated to visibly refine and smooth skin texture while helping to rejuvenate, hydrate, and restore skin to a healthier looking appearance." Well, I dunno about all that, but it smells DIVINE, and that's what I care about. Rotflol

I can't wait to get another sniff of WC tomorrow!

So I picked up a little bottles of White Citrus lotion today and it smells like limes. It's actually VERY light. I put it all over my arms and I can smell it faintly. I've had it on for about two hours now and I haven't noticed any warping or aging of the fragrance, only that it seems to have gotten lighter. I'm happy though, I do not detect any funky notes in this... no vanilla, no amber, no musk, no coconut, no floral, NO cherry blossom sneaking in from the side. rofl
It just smells like fresh, ripe limes. I never smelled Limelight so I can't compare it to that although if I had to compare it to something I'd say it DOES remind me of a lighter version of Cool Citrus Basil but less "soapy clean" and more lime than ANYTHING else. Hey I'm pretty stoked -- could it be finally a BBW release that doesn't come out of the bottle like a big floral fist? I will most definitely be trying out the other products of this line when they come out on May 12!!!

Oh and while I was there today I tried some of the C O Bigelow Lime Souffle stuff in the jar and it smells so great if you like limes. it's much stronger than White Citrus though.
