I used my Soft Coeur massage bar this evening and for some reason it feels really oily, and it feels like it didn't absorb very well.
Anyone have this happen?

There's 3 other Lush types being offered too @ MCS: Alkmaar, Rock Star, & Snowcake.

This means they'll also be available in other types of B&B products too (i.e. scrubs, shower parfaits). Big Grin I plan on ordering something in HIWTK type when it gets to be fall.

Lush now is offering discontinued products as an online exclusive; that section of the website is known as Retro Lush.

Here is what I'm interested in trying so far:
Back For Breakfast shower gel
Quinquereme Of Nineveh soap
Tiptoe Through The Tulips soap (I'm not so fond of the soap color, but the scent sounds like it'd be good.)

I probably won't be making any Lush orders until at least fall though. It's too hot to be ordering Lush soaps this time of year.

I saw a thread on the Lush forum that talked about a lot of new products that have either just recently arrived or will be arriving soon to NA.

Bath Bombs:
English Countryside (only in UK for now)
Stardust (only in UK for now)
Vanilla Fountain (only in UK for now)
White Wedding

Emotibombs (only in UK for now, aka bath bombs for the shower which look pathetically boring)

Shower Gels:
Rub Rub Rub (only in UK for now, is a scrubby shower gel)
Yummy Yummy Yummy (only in UK for now)

Soaps:
B Electro (only in UK for now)
Porridge (only in UK for now)
Spice Curls (only in UK for now)
The Godmother (Calling all Snow Fairy fans!)

I know B Electro & Yummy Yummy Yummy are things I'm going to need to try. Vanilla Fountain might also be good if it doesn't end up turning the water yellow. Between the upcoming stuff & Retro, my interest in Lush has been restored somewhat. I think I'll be needing save up some $ to make a few orders later on in the year.

I think I've gotten everything as far as the new bath/shower products listed, at least I hope so.

I decided to finally give Lush a try. Because the website shipping is a bit pricy, I figured the best way would be to start with a Lush sample lot, so I got a set of the following samples from Ebay: Snowcake, Figs & Leaves, Trichomania, Ice Blue, Greenwash, Sea Vegetable, I Should Coco, and Milky Bar. I'm really excited to finally try some of these things.

Quinquereme Of Nineveh soap sounds divine. What a great idea for a name. Unfortunately, it's out of stock on the website right now. Frowner

I got my Lush Times in the mail & have some additional info.

In addition to all of the other items I mentioned, NA is also getting:
Ickle Baby Angel
Ickle Baby Devil

Here's some pricing info. These are the prices for the stores, which are slightly more than the online pricing. But you can begin to get an idea of how much the new stuff will cost.

English Countryside, Stardust, & Vanilla Fountain: $5.95
Ickle Babies: $2.95
Spice Curls: $6.95
B Electro: $7.95
Porridge: $6.75
Rub Rub Rub & Yummy Yummy Yummy: $10.95 (3.3 oz. bottle), $16.95 (8.4 oz. bottle), $25.95 (16.9 oz. bottle)

I tried some of my Lush samples last night. shower
*Snowcake - I had really high hopes for this one because of all the hype. I love the texture of this - so creamy! - but the smell is just so-so for me. I can't smell almonds at all, and to me this smells like powdered sugar.

*Sea Vegetable - This smelled very nice and refreshing, an old-fashioned herbal scent.

*I Should Coco - I liked the coconut bits in this and thought the smell was pretty nice. But it had a bit of a medicinal undertone to my nose.

I went into Lush today & got to smell the Lily Savon soap. It's kind of a strong floral, but I wouldn't rule out getting a sample of it in a future order.

They were pimping the White Wedding bath bomb & haven't gotten the newer soaps (The Godmother & Porridge) in stock yet. Additionally, I did see a few Retro products, but nothing I was interested in.

I visited my first Lush store a few weeks ago, while on vacation in Boston! It was an exciting experience. Big Grin

I didn't actually buy anything, though...I was very, very good. Yes Wink
