I got my order today. Yes

Potion solid perfume: Too strong. Crap

Champagne Snow Showers solid perfume: At first sniff, it had a fresh bubbly orange fragrance to it. But I decided to try it out on my wrists & it started to smell nicer. It's not my favorite, but I find it to be OK. I reccomend it to people who like citrus scents.

Sultana Of Soap (received as sample): This has a sweet fruity scent. I can't really describe it, but it's nice. I'll be trying this one out in the bath sometime soon.

Fryl, what's the yellow soap that you got a sample of?

Megan, the yellow soap I got a sample of is Sexy Peel.
The one below, which you can't see in the picture, is Extra Virgin Olive Oil soap, it's a green colour.

Sexy Peel smells like a lemon cough drop.Smiler

Sultana of Soap is one of my favorite Lush soaps. Megan, I find it interesting that you pick up a sweet, "fruity" scent. I have never been able to describe it, except that it is very moisturizing and "different." lol Let you know how you like it once you try it.

Gizmo, to me Snow Fairy is a sweet and fruity, candy-ish scent, with a touch of that hard to describe LUSH powdery/ Earthy note. I've read some reviews on it, and some people think it smells like bananas, but I don't get that from it.
Smiler
I wanted to look up the scent description but it's not on the LUSH website anymore, but if memory serves me correctly it said something about sparkly vanilla(?).

I have some bad news. Frowner I don't think I'll be able to wear my Champagne Snow Showers solid perfume anymore. I was feeling nauseous yesterday & now I'm associating the scent w/ my nausea. Crap But other than that, it's an OK scent.

Fryl, I like Sexy Peel too. It's my favorite of the lemon scents I've tried. Yes In fact, I'm tempted to make another smallish order (even though I really shouldn't). Also if you like that scent, you might want to consider voting for Back For Breakfast shower gel when the discon round comes up. I've heard those 2 are supposed to be very similar smelling. Yes

And another interesting thing for me to note about Sultana soap is that for some reason it also reminds me of a freshly showered man. That's not a bad thing though. winking

oldman
I was way off.
Here's what's on the bottle:
Candy floss pink and sweet as sugar. With iridescent sparkles (I got that almost right Rotflol) and a hint of wicked fruitiness.

I sniffed it again, and it does smell like bananas to me now.
All in all it's definitely a scent worth trying.Yes

I opened a Snowcake soap this morning. shower It's probably going to be used up in no time, since it melts away so easily. It's really soft on the skin though. I even used it on my face and it didn't dry it out.

Megan, Sexy Peel is a great scent. I don't really like lemon scent, so I am surprised at how much I like it. It's so fresh and makes me happy inside when I sniff it.Yes

Can you post a link to the poll? I have visited the LUSH forum only once or twice, so I have no idea where to look.

I'm guessing that this is only a holiday item, but is Snowcake still available on the website? And how much do they charge for shipping? I might place my first order... I just don't know what to get! So many choices! Recommendations please! Smiler

Miss V, the shipping for my orders normally has been $8 & change. Although that looks a little steep, it's due to the fact that they use Fed Ex & the stuff comes all the way from western Canada. Snowcake was a seasonal item, but it'll most likely be back around Oct.

As far as my reccomendations, here goes:
Honey I Washed The Kids soap & solid perfume: Yummy honey smell! Love
Sexy Peel soap: Nice lemon scent.
Alkmaar soap: Very creamy lather & nice light/medium floral scent. It's supposedly a jasmine scent. I normally detest jasmines, but I think this is gorgeous. Yes
Ring Of Roses buttercream: Roses & lemon...lovely smell.
Massage bars: I think Soft Couer is nice (has the HIWTK scent) as well as Mange Too (honey & white chocolate).

The only thing I think I would be interested in buying is the HIWTK soap. But I can't justify paying $8 shipping for only one item... Boo... Crap
