^ Thanks for that info, Edward. Wow that isn't very many stores at all. Hopefully I'll be able to find it here soon. I'll have to ask at one of my stores.

My store had all of the Hello Sugar products including the body mist. It does smell good and it is very similar to Mark's lemon sugar.

I got the Hello Sugar mist today.. I'm so glad it wasn't shimmer! I really wanted the lotion, but it was SO MUCH SHIMMER. I can usually deal with a little, but it was 3x what anything at VS has.

I haven't seen the Hello Sugar at any of my locals B&BWs yet. But it seems like they've added some stuff on the website... (I thought there was only the Body Meringe and the Body Lotion last time I checked.) Now they have the meringue, the lotion, the 3-in-1, the splash, and a lipgloss.

I got some stuff in this scent today. Yes It smells like lemonade to me. I'll probably get a few more 3-in-1s in this later on. And I'll probably be detaching that weird charm from my splash; it gets in the way when I want to use it.

I picked up a lotion and splash today. I love it. A rich buttery lemon. Even my husband complimented the lotion. My only complaint is the SHIMMER. BBW if you're listening enough with glitter and shimmer products!

I called my local B&BW after I wrote this, and they did (finally) have it! I was very, very excited, and I immediately drove to the store to pick some up. This is my new favorite scent (just like lemon poundcake). I bought the mist and (with a coupon) got a free True Blue Spa product. I debated over the lotion, since it does have shimmer, but from my testing in the store, the scent seems to hold up better in the lotion than in the meringue. So I'm going back later to get the lotion (and probably the 3-in-1) and another free True Blue Spa product.

Amanda, the lip gloss is kinda weird. One end has the gloss and the other end has this weird really glittery powered sugar you are supposed to put over the lip gloss. The powered sugar end is really messy, thats why I passed on it at the store.

eww.. that sounds interesting in theory, but bad in real life. I hate dual-ended lipglosses for some reason.

I bought the rest of the lemon stuff online last night. I can't wait to get it all. I like the idea of the lip gloss, but not so much the powered sugar part, we'll have to wait and see on that part. I just can't wait to get the mist Smiler

I got the lotion free tonight with the coupon. It's shimmery but I love the scent. It's really yummy and made me hungry. As the Manager said, Hello Sugar smells buttery.

I'm going to get the 3-in-1 and splash next.

I like the scent for awhile after I just put it on. When it dries down it seems to sweet. It seems more appropriate for my 11 year old daughter.

Hello Sugar is made specifically by BBW, it's not 3rd party or specialty. I agree the glitter is over the top in the lotion but aside from the lipgloss...which i passed on as well when i saw the mess it made...nothing else has glitter in it. And yes, indeed that is a Vargas girl on the packaging. the gourmand trend is not for everyone that's why tutti dolce and temptations are not go forward, but its fun.

Just got back from the mall & I got a chance to try this. The lotion is chock full of glitter, like when it first became popular in the late 90s. As a 30-something year old woman, I would not feel comfortable using it. The splash smelled nice, though the lemon faded pretty much right away, and I was left with a foody, vanilla baked-goods scent. I can see how Mardi thought it would be more appropraite for her daughter, though since I like vanilla, this is one I might put aside for winter if I bought it. I haven't tried the Mark one you guys mentioned, can someone tell me if it is a dead ringer for this one, or just similar?

Fragrance is personal. If you think you like a sweet, sugary lemon check it out. but everyone is pretty accurate about the gitter content, there's alot.

IMO The best Lemon Sugar scent EVER is by Fresh. It's sophisticated but still sweet & comes in all the popular forms to fragrance layer however you want. I get a million compliments a day on it.

You can get it at C.O. Bigelow stores, Sephora or if you're lucky enough, a Fresh store. BTW, Fresh Mascara is also the most amazing mascara ever created on the face of the earth. I just had to tell you that.

I have found the scent doesn't last at all in the lotion. Very disappointing. Anyone else experience the same?

Love the mist however!

Am not going to even bother running around different BBW stores to find this one.

Especially in light of poor staying power and all of the glitter in the lotion.
Eeker

I've had both of the Fresh scents from Sephora..Sugar and Sugar Lemon. They are EXPENSIVE! And a bit 'too lemony'.

Will stick with my Avon Mark Lemon Sugar stuff.
It's affordable and the mist layered with the souffle has a pleasant lingering effect with no 'foody' notes.

Smiler

I also have that set with Fresh Lemon Sugar and Sugar, and Lychee Sugar. They all smell like bug spray to me.Frowner
Now that I think of it, there's one in that set that isn't bad but I can't remember which scent it is.

I still haven't sniffed the Hello Sugar stuff, but I have a feeling I won't like it as much as TD Lemon Meringue.

The shimmer lotion was the first thing to sell out from the Hello Sugar line at my store, and people come in asking for shimmer products every day. Right now we don't have any shimmer lotion to show them and only one option for shimmer powder, the bronze bombshell powder.

Shimmer sells, and really less than 1% of our products even have shimmer in them.
