I got to buy a tube of this today! I asked about it (it wasn't out yet), the manager went to the back, got me a tube and said I could buy it. I even got my employee discount on it! It ended up being 8.00 and some change. Its wonderful, I don't really even notice the shimmer.
 Its normal price is $11.00  yeah me!!! |

There doesn't appear to be a brand name on it. I will try to get a pic this afternoon. On the front of the tube it says "Hello Sugar" "A whole lotta lemon going on" "Totally absorbed shimmer body lotion" and thats all on the front, with a pic of a woman in glitter. On teh back it does say specifically made for B&BW, then gives the address and web site. The only name I see on it says "Vargas image-Estate of Max Vargas"-but I think this refers to the pic on the front.

Now you have my curiosity going. I know Vargas was an artist in the 40s who used do pin up pictures for Esquire Magazine. What is the website? I might be able to do some detective work. My guess is that a third party vendor made Hello Sugar just as they did for the IDT stuff. It is rather strange that this product will be only available in select stores though.  |

I am wondering if there is some sort of connection w/ VS on this as I remember at the past SAS at VS, I saw a temporary tatto kit in the 90% bin that also was called Hello Sugar and it had a very 40's pin-up look to it as well

we had that temporary tattoo kit at bbw -- it was a wvs fragranced spray on tattoo that didn't sell to well

we got in the body meringue -- it's in a can like the whipped topping (kind of like whipped cream type of package).

Thie is a limited edition "Temptation" line. (Although temptations are not a focus anymore.) Its a stand alone product collection.

I like the packaging design, but I think I'm going to have to pass on the moisturizers in this line & just stick to the 3-in-1s instead. For some reason I find using those whipped cream cans a little bit weird.

i don't like the texture of the whipped cream can moisturizers -- i find that it makes my skin feel sticky

Amanda, I think I remember Edward mentioning something about a crystal splash. I just hope it doesn't have any glitter in it.

Stopped at my local BBW last night and asked if they to see if this store was going to carry it and the manager told me they had received both the lotion and body meringue. She had on the lotion and I noticed a lot of glitter on her hands. Not sure if she had used a lot of the lotion, but very noticible on her palms. She asked me if I wanted to try the meringue, which I did. I did purchase a can of the Meringue. I love the packaging but the scent drys down to almost a lemony baby powder on me.

I am really disappointed our local BBW is not going to carry this item. There are other 'lemon' products out there like Watkins or Mark.
Tutti Dolce had a very poor shelf life for the price. Don't know what's up with glitter in everything either.  Oh well. More business for Avon Mark I guess. BBW has nothing new or exciting in the pipeline.  |

I got to smell this lotion today. It is similar to lemon meringue, much sweeter than C.O. Bigelow lemon. The manager showed me the information about the product line. It will come in a 3 in 1, shimmer lotion, body meringue, lip gloss and crystalline splash. The bottle for the splash is square like an edt. There was only a picture of it so It did not give the ounces. She said these products will be available on March 31st when they launch the new home fragrances melon sorbet and tropical sorbet(exactly like island coconut).

Thanks for the info. All I can say right now is I hope that "crystalline splash" doesn't mean it will shimmer. |
