Oh MY GOD!

I was picking up some goodies at my BBW, and saw these blue squeezy bottles for $2 and it is the Coconut Vanille ILE DE TAHITI INU--Whatever the heck that is! It is so good! The cream has these little brown beady specks in it, sorta like antibac..and it smells like coconut cream, and it makes your skin so velvety--I am in LOVE! So much, that I went back after I got home and bought 20 of them for my baby shower gifts!

Anyone else try it yet?

BBW Manager, I tried it today and really didn't care for it actually. But I'm glad that you like it. It's always nice to find something new you love

BBW Manager - I haven't sniffed this but it's cool that you happened across something you're liking as much as you're obviously liking this product. I am sure the friends you've invited to your baby shower are going to love your gifts for them , that was really sweet of you to do .

i did see this one today, it has a very nice
vanilla scent.not toocrazy about the bottle though.

I just tried my lotion sample and I it! It has a very pleasant scent & is not too strong & not too weak. Ack! Not more stuff to tempt me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't make up my mind about this!

When I first put it on it smells wierd & chemical-like .. IDK how to explain just not nice
It dries down to a nice cozy scent though I guess lol I cant decide if I like it or not .. Oh well I will use it a few more times before deciding whether to get more minis, full sizes or just finish what I have!

Aren't there other scents in this Ile De Tahiti Line or just Coconut Vanille

I decided that I do like it! They drydown is very nice - the weird chemical-ly smell goes away yay! ( no yay for my pockets )

Isn't there a banana scent? Thats gonna be delish!

I bought the lotion and body wash in Tiare and Coconut Vanille. Tiare is sort of a tropical gardenia/ylang fragrance. They are really pleasant and inexpensive compared to CSP.

The other fragrance is a Banana of some kind. Had to pass on that. IMO banana fragrances tend to smell like nail polish remover.


Still have no idea what the 'flecks' are in the Coconut Vanille lotion. They could be micro encapsulated nut oil b/c they are not 'crunchy.
The ingredient list is rather long but there is nothing 'scary' in it. I did see titanium dioxide which is a mild sunscreen.

Looks like Ile de Tahiti is a proprietary line like Savannah Bee, which uses some organic ingredients.

Essentially an excellent line. Both the lotion and body wash are creamy and luxe. It's like Tahiti in a bottle.



The packaging...real skin care products made in Tahiti are similarly presented.

I like this scent also!

I sniffed this scent too today. I really like it a lot. I wish I had got a mini lotion now.
I love the label on the bottle, but I thought the blue colour was a little weird.

The new packaging is lovely. It has a "classic" look to me. I am confused -- is the bottle blue, or is the product blue? I have never had a chance to see this up-close in the store or try it. I thought the bottle was blue, but it seems like you all are describing the lotion as being blue. I am intrigued by the two scents. Banana might not be so bad if it's done well

Janelle, as far as I could tell the bottle is tinted blue. The specks in the lotion are blue too.
I don't know about the colour of the lotion though.

If i recall correctly, the lotion was white and the specks were a light brown

I can't wait to try the edt's!

I still haven't figured out the scent in the mini lotion that I have yet though.

All the minis were gone at the BBW that I visited last night. I'll have to go try to find one at the BBW across the street.

We got all the Ile De Tahiti stuff in on Friday! The banana EDT is awesome . The tahitian tiare is really good too.

I didn't think I'd be interested in anything in this line, but now I really want to get the banana edt. I've had CSP Vanille Banane before, but that didn't work out for me, I really hope this one will.

I might be off here but the first association I've made in regards to Ile de Tahiti's Coconut Vanille Body Lotion upon first (cold) sniff is, it reminds me of Breathe's Comfort Vanilla Milk Lotion . Does anyone else think so or is it just me ?

At first I thought that the ile de tahiti vanilla was also similiar to the Breathe Comfort, which is the only breathe product that I like, but then it changed to a very light vanilla scent. I think that the scent in the lotion and edt form is very light and the lasting power on me isn't very good.

I bought the banana lotion and when I used it, it smelled just like some kind of sweet banana candy. Then the same thing, when it dries down, it has a very faint banana scent. I can't wait to try the edt in this though.

When I asked a manager about the banana lotion, the SA who brought it out to me, who happened to be a guy, grabbed my hand and put the lotion on and proceeded to massage my hand with the lotion as he was describing it. Not that it was a bad thing, but I think that he should have asked if I would mind him doing that.
