Yet again I've started the month of October early (it begins in two days but it's still "early") BUT in keeping with "tradition" (yet again) I couldn't resist
 .Why? Welll even though we can't technically make "October Purchases" yet, we CAN certainly plot what we are going to purchase in the upcoming month. We even have a "head start" . |

My Shopping Plans For Oct.:
Pecan Passion lotion & body wash Mini 3-in-1's of holiday Temptations Fresh Baked scents: Birthday Cake & Raspberry Tart (Hoping to find these!) VS Beauty Rush lip glosses: Creme Femme, Cupquake, Razzleberry, & Spice Girl (Hoping that these actually show up this month!) Probably at least 1 fashion magazine (but not Cosmo) Smackers Strawberry/Strawberry Starburst haircare & bodycare (Hoping to find these!) Halloween candy YC votives: Feliz Navidad & White Chocolate Mint Also, VS comes out w/ their holiday catalog sometime mid-late Oct. VS holiday catalog=me spending lots of $!  The pj sets are really cute this yr. & I can't wait to see the holiday Pink collection. |

actually, i was hoping to begin some holiday
shopping early this year. i hate doing this stuff last minute.but i think its best for me not to make any plans, usually when i do they go the opposite way. i hope my wallet can survive.lol. |

 (Of course, she may have tried it at the store.) I did read on MUA that the Vanilla Cola lip shine was really good. I really want that one now. |

Hehe, yeah BBW Rawks is right but Fryl, that's ok-I haven't actually bought it yet, but I did smell it today in the store. The Root Beer one I'm not so sure of, but the Vanilla Coke one smelled JUST LIKE Vanilla Coke! The Orange Cream one smelled quite nice too. So I do hope to get those eventually. I did make some purchases on this last day of September, I'm posting in the Sept thread

I bought the Root Beer, Vanilla Coke and Orange Cream menthas today...they're all GREAT!!! Anan, you're right, the vanilla coke scent is dead on. I find that I don't mind the mentha part that much. They smell exactly like their respective names, but still have the tingle and refreshing taste like the original mentha. Now I just need to get the Black Cherry one!

Made a few runs to WalMart/Sally/Publix today. Nothing too exciting at WalMart, but at Sally I got two Fresh Baked Strawberry Shortcake 2in1s, and at Publix I got some Edy's LE Pumpkin ice cream!

Jade, you MUST get the new mentha lip shines - I can't stop sniffing and using them
 I think the root beer might be my favorite right now - it's just so accurate! But I'm hoping the Black Cherry one will be good too. I just hope that CO Bigelow continues to come out with new flavors every so often - I'm definitely addicted |

I agree on the Mentha stuff.
 I love all the new varieties and if I didn't already have so many other glosses, I's swear that COB Mentha Lip Shines are a holy grail item.  But I have so many lip glosses that I have to use more than just one of something. *********************** My scent for March: Pink Sugar! |

I bought a couple of things at YC today:
-medium-sized Farmer's Market candle in Maple Sugar (this smells AMAZING on cold sniff) -mini-sized Spiced Cocoa Housewarmer (I can't believe these are $9.99 for such a small size) -Spiced Cocoa tart I used a $10 off $25 coupon, so my total after tax was just short of $18. |

I actually haven't bought anything yet this month.
But I did get 2 coupons in the mail today from The Ltd. for 40% off one item from the holiday collection. Both of these coupons are valid 10/9-11/5. I think I'll be making good use out of these.  I went into VS tonight & was 0 for 2 in the redeeming coupons dept. It turns out the free Very Sexy lipstick Anan sent to me is for a full sized lipstick of my choice. So I'm saving that for when the Sparkling Lipsticks show up. If they don't show up, I'll just get a backup of Sex Kitten, which is my current favorite. I also saw a lot of new Pink items. It seems that a lot of stuff has a punk rock look to it.  Many of the panties have a glittery elastic band on them. I only saw 1 new item that interested me & that was a red tank top that says "Let Pink Live Forever". However, I'll wait till I visit the remodeled store to get that one. |

I was at BBW tonight and didn't buy ANYTHING!! I went in looking for the Temptations scrubs, but they didn't have any.
I did sample the Pecan Passion lotion, and I'm really not sure what I think about it. The initial "wet" scent was really nasty, but the dry down is ok. Very nutty ... duh. But maybe not something I'd use more than once or twice ever. I think I have a freebie coupon I might use to get one, but otherwise I'll stick to the 3-in-1's. The orange cream and vanilla cola menthas smelled really good! I'm not going to get any, but they were cute and I bet a lot of you will love them. Ciao! Janelle |
