I'm on the hunt for a good mascara, but I can't seem to find any.

Maybelline has been my staple brand since I was fourteen, but I've been wanting to try new stuff, so I went away from it. What a mistake that was. XXL is the best mascara available, even better than Intense XXL. The kind in the blue tube is great, too. I just can't remember it's name.

Max Factor is pretty good. Stretch and Seperate worked the best for me in this brand, and had little to no clumping.

Victoria's Secret Intensifying mascara is what made me start this insanity. I got a freebie mini tube of it that I loved even more than XXL, so I went and bought a big tube. MISTAKE. It's like they're not even the same mascara. The big tube clumps and doesn't give me the same drama and intensity that the little tube does.

L'Oreal Volume Shocking is big time sh*t. Why don't I just apply my mascara with a toothbrush - it would clump the same amount.

CoverGirl Lash Exact really dissapointed me. It clumps almost as much as Volume Shocking! And this is that new one with the weird looking brush that is supposed to END clumps! Curse

Maybe I should just give up and go back to Maybelline. It's a brand that actually works.

Becky, I used the Mabelline in the blue tube-something like Sky-High Curl, maybe? I like it, it doesn't seem as thick as others. But I guess I can't help ya out much on finding a new one Big Grin I only use my mascara once a month on average!

I just remembered the name - Volum' Express. That was what I used from the time I was fourteen until XXL came out.

For some reason, I seem to have better luck with drugstore brands for mascara. My all-time favorite is Maybelline Full N Soft. Love I've used it on and off for years, but keep coming back to it. I should just stick with it, cuz it works great. CoverGirl Professional works fairly well, too.

I've also tried a mascara from Vicky's and really hated it. I also tried Flirt! mascara (sold at Kohls) not too long ago-- it was awful.

I use my trusty Christian Dior Long'Optic. I once wanted to buy something different for a change and bought Lancome Definicils. I really don't like Lancome products especially their mascara, because they all clump!
Definicils doesn't clump as much though if you just apply one thin layer, and it looks okay and subtle. But I will not buy it again.

I use Lancome mascaras and I love them. It doesn't clump unless I apply a couple of layers.

I was using Maybelline Sky High Curves, but several weeks ago switched to Maybelline Intense XXL - and will never go back to anything else. It's my Queen of all mascaras!
