Has anyone tried the new VS sport bras? I just saw them in the window as I was flying through the mall looking for a gift. How much are they? Do you think it's worth it?! Thanks!!

..Considering I only run if I am being chased, and the fact that my giant boobs would become a UNIBOOB in one of those things, I don't think I can help you out here..sorry! Wink

Sports bras wouldn't be all that supportive for me either. And they aren't sexy. I always wore a regular bra when I had dance classes & was just fine.

You are too funny BBW Manager! When I went to BBW the last time, the manager was letting me know that VS had got a new manager and that I should go talk to her because she is really friendly. I hardly ever go to VS so I don't know who's who. Anyway, she told me oh they have the new sportsbras too, they're great for running. My reply: " no thanks, I don't run!"
I can hear crickets! Fish
Oh well, it was funny to them. Rotflol

Smiler

Too funny.

Well, I'm not into them for any cleavage enhancement or anything...but actually to run. I read an article about them on USA today, and it said that they are in a class with Champion, NIKE, Adidas, and other high performance bras.

I work at a VS, so take my opinion or leave it. Those sport bras, called "Sexy Sport," aren't made by VS - they're made by Shock Absorber, a UK based company. They're supposed to be one of the best, and the bras aren't going to give you super cleavage or anything like that just because it comes from VS. It's just not an ugly bra. In the training, they also gave us a whole slew of info on sport bras - like everyday bras only keep them from from falling down, but what if they bounce up? Breasts bounce a lot during exercise and this will stretch your Cooper's ligament in them which will make them sag and there's nothing but surgery to fix that - wow, lots of stuff I didn't really want to know.

So, yeah, I guess it's an OK line.. the lifestyle pieces in the collection seem really nice, though.

I may have to go take a look at these. I am fairly large busted, so I have to search quite a bit to find a sports bra that I like. I like to wear them when I am working outside or doing heavy cleaning, because of all the movement involved. I also have some cheapies that would be useless for working out, but are great to wear to bed. I'm probably the only woman in the world who thinks this insane , but I actually like wearing a bra, even to bed sometimes. Without one, I feel ... well ... saggy. I like support!!

Ciao!

I never wear a bra to bed, unless it's built in to a cami that I'm wearing. I'm fairly well-endowed as well, and I have a sports bra that I've never worn..well, maybe once. They are great for yardwork/exercise, though. But since I never do those things, I have no use for a sports bra.

Amanda, it's good to see that you're a VS insider. I'm sure your presence will make the board more interesting. Yes Have you heard any details about the Semi-Annual Sale yet?

For you ladies who wear your bras to bed, definitely try out the Ipex Wireless... this is the perfect bra for that because it has such a soft fabric, too.

Megan - I haven't heard anything about the SAS, really.. It does start next week, though, on the 20th. I have a feeling it's going to be like any other SAS sale.. nothing special. The discontinued scents are the same this year - Pretty in Pink, Enchanted Apple, and Passionate Kisses, VS Color is going to be on a huge discount because they're bringing out a new line starting in September, uhh.. lotions and shower gels for the prestige fragrances will be buy 1 get 1 (not the perfumes or the mists), that's all I remember for Beauty. But we'll find out for sure next week. Wink
I'll keep you guys posted if I find anything out before then.
