I made terribly boring purchases today.
I ordered some new curtains from JCPenney.
At Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts I got a new curtain rod, and labels and magnets for my little MAC depotting and pigment pressing project.

Not boring to me at all Fryl! I got curtains for my bedroom from JCP and was actually thinking of going there to get more. I'm ready for a change!

i agree, new curtains are always fun!

i went into bbw today and tok advantage of the 5 for 15 soaps and also i got a scent portable
no sample lotion yet of the new citrus scent, sa said most likely soon.

I can't wait for them to arrive. They felt very nice and heavy in the store, and seemed to drape well, so I am excited to see what they'll look like hanging in my livingroom.

Lovey, you sound just like me. I've painted my bedroom, guestbedroom and bathroom at least 3 times each over the past 5 years, just because I felt I needed a change.

I hear you Fryl! Now I don't paint, but I will buy new comforters, curtains, pictures, pillows, etc at the drop of a hat! I'm in the market for a new comforter now but nothing has captured my interest. But it sure it fun looking.

I got my curtains today.
They look lovely.

I did some more shopping today. I went to Macy's to return that awful Chanel foundation I got recently, and with the store credit I got some MAC eye shadows and blushes. I'll post a picture soon.

I also went to the Body Shop. Their lip butters were B2G1, so I got 2 more Wild Cherry and 1 Strawberry.

I went to Target yesterday & got the following DVDs:

Lovey & Fryl, you two are reminding me that I need to work on getting some new bedding. I haven't gotten any new sheets for my double bed since high school.

i like these too, they are are soo cute to put in your pocket or purse or wherever, i did only see the nectarine mint in the handsoaps.

i found another lush store today, i was there early before it opened and talked with one of the sa's about what i liked in the store, i told her the bath bombs, i got a salt scrub facial sample im going to try soon.
i got four bath bombs, tisty tosty, sex bomb,
avobath and butterball.
they didnt have some of the scents that they have online.
love this stuff!

I forgot to post yesterday that I placed a beauty.com order. I had a few drugstore dollars to use up, so I decided to get a Cargo blush, a Korres lip balm and a trio of Smith's salves.

Glad to hear you're happy with your curtains. I actually love the color of my curtains, however I want to get the same ones in a different color and without the pleats (PITA!). Then knowing me, I'll just switch them out every so often.

I stopped at BBW today, I bought the new COB Lemon EdP. They let me buy it early, I used a $10 off $30 survey coupon. So it was $24 for a 3.4 oz. bottle. I absolutely love this scent.
I cant wait to stop again this week, and stock up on some new goodies.

Oh lime sugar sounds great. Sephora had a Sephora Brand set of lotions a while ago called Lime Blossoms that was just spectacular. But of course, cant find it for the life of me anywhere anymore. Im boring - just new shoes and running pants for me, no new scents or make up yet in my life, but then again i havent done a monthly shopping trip to Sephora yet. lol Ive been craving a taupe eyeshadow- preferably an expensive one. haha. i have the itch...

Today I went to BBW to return the horrid Cherry Blossom fragrance mist that I bought last week. And, I had a coupon for a free candle item under $12.50 value with any $10 purchase so I got to use that and came home with:
Wild Honeysuckle shower gel
Vanilla Noir shower gel
Midnight Pomegranate shower gel
Fresh Bamboo candle 4 oz jar
White Citrus sample lotion
Enchanted Orchid fragrance mist
Japanese Cherry Blossom fragrance mist

Arrgh I always second guess my purchases when I get home. I keep wondering if I should have gotten the Rain Kissed Leaves Shower Gel instead of the Vanilla Noir. I can't tolerate the lotion in that scent. Maybe the shower gel won't be so strong.

Oh I smelled the C O Bigelow Lemon perfume too and it smelled really great. I hope it will go on sale soon

Were the COB items 2/$20 at your BBW?

The reason I ask is because when I asked the SA if they were on sale she said no...but they rang up as $10 each.

Lemonz, Vanilla Noir is actually one of the BETTER new scents. Dunno about the shower gel tho. BBW shower gels and body washes make me itch. Being the 'cheap Charlie' I am, I use Emerald Isle which is CVS' generic version of Irish Spring.
