As for what you're saying about the whole student-teacher thing, you're right...of course it depends to what extent this "crush" escalated. I mean some students take crushes to differing degrees...and some even begin to construe what on the teachers part is professional etiquette, as favoritism or the return of whatever emotions the student might be experiencing. It's potentially risky.

Anan, that is so cute that a student has a crush on you. I had quite a few crushes on male teachers in high school and college, and they never escalated beyond me being a good student in whatever class they happened to be teaching.

Anan, I agree that it's kind of cute that your student has a crush on you, but I can imagine that you find it a lil creepy too.
But as long as he doesnt take it to serious I'm sure everthing will be fine. And hopefully he will be a good student in your class too

It's cute, but his friends pushed him into my room and screamed "Jim likes you" and he was mortified. I had to crack up. Poor kid...Now seems every corner I turn he's there which I'm sure makes him feel even more self-conscious.

He does have the highest grade of any of my students and now I think I know why!

I got 2 compliments in the past week
Both were from my BF, which is unusual. The other day he said that I smelled nice when I was wearing my TD Mango Sorbetto souffle and today he complimented me again on my Strawberry Fizz scent

My husband just told me that he thinks his skin looks better since I introduced him to "products".

At my interview on Friday they asked if there would ever be any instances where I may not be able to work, ie, kids, etc. I said well, my son is 15 so I don't think I'll have any problems in that area and he said, 15? You can't have a 15 year old. When did you have him, when you were 10? (I took that as a compliment)

I've got a couple of compliments on my Chloe handbag in the past couple of days.

The things I get the most compliments about though are my rings. I can't go anywhere without people commenting on how beautiful they are.

I got a bunch of compliments on the outfit I wore to my niece's wedding (black dress, black beaded shawl, red shoes, red lipstick). (I decided not to wear the polka dotted dress - it didn't look quite right with my coloring.)
