Got another compliment today on my Body Shop aqua tote bag! I'm telling you, that thing is a compliment magnet!

last sunday i went to a graduation party
i was asked what i was wearing for perfume
i was told i smelled good whatever i was wearing.i said, breathe lotion w britney
perfume.

Like a lot of you, I always get compliments on my makeup and skin. Great, thanks! But I guess I kinda "expect" this since I am in Mary Kay and need to look the part. But why is it that no one compliments me on my fragrance? Do I stink? To me, a fragrance completes the picture. You know, great clothes, awesome hair, slammin' makeup, to-die-for shoes..........yummy fragrance! Maybe I keep buying stuff in hopes that someone will say something....anything!

Although ........one night, while saying prayers with my daughter, my dh asked, "Why are you wearing Brut?!?!?!" What?? I couldn't help myself...I laughed so hard! "Are you freaking kidding me? This is my favorite, Jasmine Vanilla!" His reply? "Take it back.....quickly!"

I wore VS Spa mixed with BBW Black Raspberry Vanilla to work the other night and the other nurses kept asking me to 'write it down.


One nurse looks like Tyra Banks and wore two sets of lashes and was all made up like a VS model so I complimented HER. Nurses from the agencies who work with us are usually into 'wigs and church'.
So I just had to GIVE this particular gal 'samples' from my back pack. She got a big laugh out of me calling her 'Tyra'.

Another nurse from El Salvador snatched my tube of Victoria's Cuerpo hand lotion. Of course being Hispanic, she was hysterically laughing at my 'cuerpo' jokes.

It's a shame my other co workers who are from 'the islands' have no sense of humor and were 'glaring' at us all shift. There was an article in the NY Times about 'Slut' lip gloss and we sure had fun reading that out loud and how the word 'slut' has become a compliment.

Also unusual that there is a word for that in Creole but no word for 'hottie'. So we retaliated by saying there are probably no 'hotties' in Haiti because the closest word was 'hot water'.

So this weekend, we are all going to dress like 'putas' and entertain the patients.

yesterday at lunch, a couple people had to
smell my td, they've never heard of it.i had a jar of apple torta in my desk.i put some on in the am.they said it smelled heavenly.then i heard a remark of (insert my name) always brings
in the good smelling lotions.i told them that was my hobby.or addiction in my case.im gonna bring a jar of td for someone who doesnt have the extra $$ for it.

My husband actually complimented my perfume last night when we went out, it was the first time I've worn it around him.

Mood Succulent from VS

The description is:

I went to a baby shower and got 3 different compliments!!

1) The father of the baby said my wrapping of the gift was the best wrapping he's ever seen.

2) A lady said she loved my sandals. (they're my $7 Walmart sandals!)

3) Another lady said she loved my shirt. Asked me where I got it & said it looked really great on me.

I love it when people compliment me. It can be the smallest thing. Makes me feel good about myself.

I got TWO compliments today from two different people about my perfume. I was wearing Breathe Energy, of course!

Not only did I get the Mood Succulent Lotion and EDP, I got the 'gardenia' one also. Thank gawd the 'fig' Mood stuff smells sort of like BSF which I hate or I'd have gotten that one also.

Nextel was having a special so I also got a new phone. Well, my rationale for THAT one was that the phone was $200 off and is a 'military' model.

I LOVE that movie! I've only seen it about 97 times. Weezer (Shirley MacLaine) had lots of hilarious lines!

Isn't the Mood Succulent fabulous?!

The one you're talking about... the fig - Mood Ripe - that one is next on my list.

Mood Ripe is the fig one you didn't like. Maybe you should do a re~sniff?

I LOVE Mood Succulent... and I can't decide if I like it or Sweet Craving better. I think I might like Succulent just a tiny bit more. I bought both of them that day.

Thanks Joy! That's good to know since my Hawaiian Ginger 2oz splash went MIA at the lake house. I put it back in the medicine cabinet next to my Creamy Coconut lotion the last time I used it, and now it's gone, but the lotion is still there.

At work the other day, a guy complimented me on my Creamy Coconut antibac lotion.

I got complimented at work every day this last weekend. I got complimented today too. This past weekend I was wearing bbw sugar plum lotion a splash. Today I was wearing bbw pear blossom body cream and edt. Pear blossom smells really really good on me!! I'm glad I have tons (and won't ever refuse any) because this is obviously being discontinued!!!

I got a compliment on my lips & lipstick today by my boss. I was wearing MAC 15 Minutes with Lip 65 Lipglass.

Today I took my car in for repairs and I needed a courtesy ride back to my apartment. I heard the shop owner say to his coworker, "I'm going to give that *girl* a ride home." Later, he asked me if I was a student at the local university. (I'm sure he thought I'd be a graduate student, but still. . . .) Anyway, that was music to my 36-year-old ears. I guess my sunscreen use is paying off (although I'm sure he didn't see the graying at my temples). On the downside, after my car repairs I'm going to be on a forced "spend less program" for a while.

My boyfriend saw my bottle of In Control on my bathroom counter and said "That spraying thing is so cool! You never see that anymore!"
He was referring to the pink squeeze ball that makes the perfume come out. What are those called? Vaporizers or something?

Are you thinking of bulb atomizer?
