I rarely get compliments on the scents I wear. Maybe if people will post what they were wearing that got complimented today or tomorrow... etc. Anyway, I was hoping to keep this post around and people could just post when they get a compliment and what they were wearing... Sound okay?

Don't post ones in the past!!! Only post if someone compliments you starting with today!!!

Yesterday an older woman complimented me not on a scent, but on my makeup. She was 75, and said I was very pretty and she liked that my look was natural, and that I wasn't "all painted up like some women today."

At the lake house yesterday I had my Creamy Coconut lotion and Calgon Hawaiian Ginger (read: banana scented) splash on after a shower, and both my bf's mom and sister (about two minutes apart) walked into the bathroom and asked "Who smells like banana pudding?"

I *always* get compliments on products from Coconut Hut Beauty. I got compliments on Beach Girl Beauty items too, but I wasn't too crazy about them. The only BBW scent that gets me compliments is Flowering Herbs.

Can we post other compliments too?

I received 1 today from a female co-worker about my makeup. I was wearing Lovely Lily pigment with Violet pigment in the crease.

Smiler

I honestly get complimented mostly every day on my scents. I guess it's because most of the time I smell like a candy or bakery and I make people hungry! Rotflol

The only person I usually never get complimented on my scents is by my H. He said between the perfumes, candles, etc. that his sense of smell is gone forever. rofl

It's probably going to take me forever to post a compliment in this thread. I've been around my family way too much lately & they are anti-fragrance. Roll Eyes Last time I checked, "Eww! Stinky stuff!" was not a compliment.

All those are great!!! I wish I got complimented more. The last time I got complimented on was at work. I was wearing pear blossom and my supervisor said I made the room smell nice. Flower

I got complimented several times over the holiday for wearing Mood SC lotion combined with Romane's Pure Sugah. A few women asked me to 'write it down'. Same goes for Suds and Light Pink Sugar.
I cannot say enough good things about Michelle's lotions and sprays in Pink Sugar.
Love

A lady also complimented me on one of my 'concoctions'. It was Sudanese Coconut fragrance oil I had made into a lotion. You can order the oil or premade lotion from Exotic Fragrances dot com in New York. Very reasonable prices and they have over 400 fragrances.Smiler They are approximately $4.00 for a 1 ounce bottle and last all day. You can download a PDF file listing of all their fragrances, lotions, and bottles. Shipping is rather high and you have to phone orders in. But it saves on gas and parking and there is no sales tax. I usually try to order in 'quantity'. Exotic's D&G Light Blue and A&F Fierce are dead on dupes.
I believe the minimum order is $30. The downloadable catalog is full of information on oils, their history and usage. Sudanese Coconut is the strongest oil yet the lightest in consistency. You only need a drop or so. They also have a lot of VS dupes as well as some 'suggestive' titles as well. Their aromatherapy oils are pure or diluted with jojoba oil.

A&F Fierce also continues to get the most compliments from women. My nurse coworkers have asked me if it is D&G for Men. They are not familiar with Abercrombie.

Haven't ever gotten any compliments from guys, which is a good thing.

Jeff, you remind me of one of my younger brothers. He wears Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion on his hands and sprays two squirts of splash on his shirts, and the girls love it. Every time a female hugs him, they say, "Yum!" and don't want to let go. Smiler

My kitty got a compliment today!!! I had to take him to the emergency vet this evening. We just got back actually. He bumped his nose REALLY hard on the wall sliding on the hard wood floor to get away from one of our big cats (the dominant cat)!!! It was bleeding a little and he was all shook up so I called and they said to bring him in just to be safe. Anyway, the doctor picked him up and said "oh you smell really good kitty... like vanilla or something." I told her I had ambrosia lotion on my hands and arms and she said... "Oh that must be it".

Shmuts is fine. He has some amoxicillan for his nose and is sleeping on our bed. Yes
