May is upon us, so it's time to switch the purchases thread to another month.

Went to WalMart today and got the last PDC Sugar Apple Fantasy spray that was sealed. I'm very glad that I got it, it smells wonderful. Also got my dad a birthday present: Independence Day dvd. He loves movies, and has a bunch of them. I wanted to get him Good Night and Good Luck, but it wasn't anywhere to be found.

I can't believe we're already switching to May purchases, I remember when April was just starting. The year is just flying by - meanwhile I'm up to my ears in work again. It seems like it was just yesterday I was stressed out about some other paper, now I have three due at the end of the week.

This isn't a purchase, but I thought I'd put it here. I got a $10 off $50 purchase gift card from VS. It's good till 7/31/07, but it's too bad that it's for in store use only b/c I'd be able to use it a lot faster if it applied to online purchases too.

And I can't believe it's May either...scary!

The gift card came in some type of envelope. I got it for doing a phone survey. I'm lucky that my store is one of the ones that offers the invitation for the phone survey; I now have 4 of these!

Thanks for the info Megan, too bad the giftcard can't be used online. I usually don't go to the store unless I know they have a deal on the Garden Collection scent. I went to a bigger VS store last Sunday and it didn't seem like they had as much of the Pink sleepwear (the VS at my mall has very little too) as they do online.

I just took the VS phone survey. I punched in a bunch of random numbers and was still able to take the survey.... twice!
I based my answers on two visits (found two really old receipts in a purse) The first time I called I was only asked three questions before I had to give my name, mail address and phonenumber, the second time I was asked at least 15 questions if not more. I hope to get the giftcards soon, although I don't know if I'll use them since I hardly go into the store to purchase anything. They have so much more to choose from on their website, but it won't hurt to have them either

The Suds and Light Dupe mist was much stronger than the lotion; the lotion is what I was hoping the mist would smell like. The mist had this weird fruity note to it

I finally found the Calgon Pear Caramel lotion and bought it. It smells really good, but the "pear" part of the scent fades really quickly and I'm left with only caramel. I will probably use this more in the fall and winter. It's a fun purchase for around $5.

I am a weak, weak woman. I bought the Jaqua butter trio today at BBW. I didn't have the coupon with me, but my old asst. mgr let me get a free DBR item anyway. Love her! I chose a Country Apple lotion, because I really couldn't think of what to get and didn't want to pass up her generosity, plus, I don't have any Country Apple.

Got some MUA stuff today: 2 Totally Juicy scrubs, 2 Demeter roll-ons in Apple Pie and Angel Food Cake, some Black Raspberry Vanilla body cream and some Burt's Bees cuticle cream.

If you have a CVS nearby, it might be worth a shot to go see if they have a 90% off makeup bin. I stopped in there today, and there were 2 large bins (mostly Max Factor - but they also had some CoverGirl and other brands) for 90% off.

I got a large bag full for less than $15.

I got a BBW online order today. (Terry Robe candle [which is awesome] and the mirrored tote bag.) No catalog and only three samples - of some DDF RMX product. I'm not sure what the DDF stuff is - guess I'll have to check the website (the sample packets don't give any information about it.)
